Oh jeez. Answers under the cut. The answers to some of these are simple that anyone with half a brain could find the answer.

1.) Who knows. They probably thought he was too pathetic, and probably wouldn't survive long enough to go back to the Night's Watch anyway.

2.) Probably because Tyrion knows how to pick his battles, unlike his sister. But that's not even it--Littlefinger LOST the dagger to Robert--his story about losing it to Tyrion is completely and utter BS to pit the Starks against the Lannisters; Tyrion would never have bet against Jaime. Robert likely forgot he had it and Joffrey took it and gave it to the catspaw to have bran assassinated. Even in the books it's unanimously agreed that it was Joffrey who tried to have Bran killed.

3.) Easy way around this one. The Waif probably didn't hit any vital organs. Despite all her talk, she was just as reckless as Arya was. She was blinded by jealousy.

4.) The farther away from the warlocks Dany is, the weaker their magic is. Also, it wouldn't have served to further the plot.

5.) This could easily be written off as a retcon, but there's a much simpler answer; by the time the first episode of Season 6 rolls around, Melisandre is in a darker place. She feels abandoned by her god, she placed all her hopes on Stannis being Azor Ahai and found herself being utterly wrong in that assumption. By shedding her young appearance and becoming the old crone, she's disassociating herself from the magic that the Lord of Light bestows her with--thereby disassociating herself from her god.

6.) Because they're idiots who are more concerned with their hatred of the Wildlings. Also, they probably left Jon's body there to send a message to those that supported him.

7.) ROAMING THE FUCKING RIVERLANDS.

8.) IT'S CALLED AN HOMAGE. JEEZ.

9.) I fear that will be one of Game of Thrones' greatest mysteries. I chalk it up to Pod being a nice and sweet virgin that treated the ladies there with respect, something they've probably never experienced.

10.) Because the band they hired to do the song put a punk spin on it and they ran with it. End of story.

Podrick is great at pleasing the ladies because of natural talent and because he lives to serve. *hint hint nudge nudge wink wink* :monster: Simple as that.

I can't wait for this to finally air again! It's been way too long.

Also, shouldn't the thread title be updated now? :awesome:

Given "Winter is coming", something I can't find a lot of discussion on is whether Dany's dragons are cold-blooded. Not sure if it is stated anywhere in the books or the TV series. Only counter argument I can find is "They can heat themselves internally because they produce fire, etc."

- In the fire place scene, I was expecting the Hound to end with "I'M JUST FUCKIN' WITH YA CUNTS! I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING IN THE BLOODY FIRE!" but they didn't. I'm glad my expectation was wrong here.

- Sad that the farmer father and daughter died. If the Hound and Arya hadn't stolen their money...maybe the little family would have lived. They show just enough of the Hound's regret.

- Arya sitting down with Lannister soldiers and being faced with how some of them are actually nice? Great scene...until the final few seconds when Arya says why she is going to King's Landing. At this point, Arya should have learned to lie. She doesn't *need* to throw the soldiers off by saying something so outrageous like that she's going to kill the queen. It only works as humor for the audience, but I found it silly in a bad way. Just a nitpick. Otherwise a great scene.

- Jon talked down to Sansa just a little bit too much. Jon should be smarter at this point and more open to her wisdom. She is the reason that Ramsay Bolton no longer holds Winterfell, for fuck sake. Surely Jon knows this?

- Why in the world did that jump scare with Jorah Mormont have to happen? Why? It felt a bit forced. If they wanted to show that Jorah is losing his mind, I think they could have done a better job at it.

- The montage of Sam working in Oldtown was glorious, disgusting gold!

I may have written down a few nitpicks, but I quite liked this episode. Good season starter.

YEAH I REALLY ENJOYED IT <3

Omg Nymeria and Arya ;___; I hope Nymeria goes back to her or Arya finds her again, that can't be the end. Arya said 'that's not you'?? Curious what she meant. Maybe it's because Nymeria is confused? Been in the Riverlands for so long that the north feels like a dream. Maybe Arya wasn't saying 'it's not her anymore', maybe it was 'Nymeria you know this isn't where you're supposed to be/who you are'.
Then again Nymeria did stop growling and never started back up, and left Arya and her horse alone. She clearly does remember her.
But they finally found each other agaaaaain aaaaah ;___; I've waited so long!

Jon you strangle that bastard, strangle him good :closedmonster: A bit surprised Littlefinger told him he's got a creep/obsession with Sansa. He's getting uhh, bolder? idk he seems less careful now. I think he's going to die this season. Can't happen fast enough imo. :wacky:

oh, ARYA'S GOING NORTH YAAAY
And Hotpie <3

Omfg there goes the Ironborn under Dany's rule. .___. I knew Theon wasn't going to die there, didn't expect him to jump ship but it makes sense, he wouldn't have been kept alive like his sister. Her tears was pretty sad to see though. I feel for her. She saw him turn away from her and run instead of trying to save her.
I'm really curious at what he's going to do next. I honestly don't know.

Also fuck man, Jorah getting his greyscale peeled off, ajdgjfidhgnurivnghdiu Jesus, Sam. I hope Sam doesn't get it. Don't think he will. Should be interesting to see what comes of this.....

I'm drawing a blank on the other big events, oh, Dany's covo with Varys was interesting. I'm still curious to see if she can stay sane after all this. If she'll become like her father and brother, or if she'll become like Aegon instead. Hopefully the latter. :monster:

And Viserion or Rhaegal will likely get shot down by that black bolt of Cercei's, I'm assuming. Sad feisu. ;__;
