I already picked up Deus Ex, The Witcher 2, and SimCity 2000 (I already had the last of these but I doubt I have a version that will run on Windows 7).

I wish I still had my old cities. Maybe I still have one of the computers they were on somewhere. Some of my cities got really damn sophisticated and good-looking. I think I saved printouts of them somewhere but it's just not the same.

There is no way that my old cities still existed, and even if they did, I'm sure they were rather crappy. My dad's, however, were like works of art

Some of mine were probably pretty crappy but I got absolutely obsessed with that game after awhile and eventually got pretty damn good at building cities.

Anyway I also picked up FTL and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. Less than $20 for five games, not bad.

You guys keep your cities? I always deleted them after a few hours and started over. The fun part was in the first initial stages when the city was new. Once it got huge and took over the map it became kind of boring.

They were giving away copies of Torchlight when this started. I already have that on steam, but for some reason I took a copy here anyway. Even as I did it, I have no explanation for way I did this.

Bumping because Steam summer sale. I picked up Morrowind and Sleeping Dogs. I'm not sure I should have; I still have a backlog of five games from the GOG sale that I haven't even touched. (I wound up picking up the first Witcher game as well, but the only game I've made time for is SimCity 2000 because my nostalgia overload isn't complete yet).

Id say it is. It's a solid 3rd person shooter. Only real complain I have is they put her through the ringer. Like, she'd be dead in the first 10 min or so of the game and new stuff keeps happening to her every 20-30 min or so. Pulls you out of the game a bit.

Cool. What's the deal with the Survival edition, worth the extra $2.50?

I'm definitely picking up Dark Souls during this sale but I'm going to wait to see if it drops to more than 50% off, which I didn't think to do with the two games I already bought.
