I'm getting a 3DS... which one should I get?

There are too many options. I kind of want the XL but I was wondering if anyone has experience with them and if so, which one?

Also games.

Mostly I'll be going for Mario/Zelda and Theatrhythm Curtain Call. I'm ordering it later tonight and I'll have it on Friday.

Because get the new one.

Then again you might not need it for Mario/Zelda games. Because the new one plays games the previous one doesn't and comes with a second analog stick and shit. But Mario and Zelda and stuff are all 3DS and not N3DS.

I don't know, I have a 3DS XL Zelda edition.

Also, Nintendo's naming of consoles is garbage.

I was going to go for the New XL but I'm a bit disappointed with the colours. The normal 3DS is much prettier (and cheaper).

I can get the New 3DS XL Majora's Mask edition but it's a bit more expensive than just an XL and the game (obv).

I have an XL, I wanted the blue or silver colour but they only had the forbidden colour (red) TBH the only games I played on it are Layton, Zelda -Link between worlds and Luigi's Mansion.

But It's alright. Never got too excited about the customisable coverplates and stuff, but then I'm old skool, thats what tippex and permanent markers are for

the only complaint i would have about it is that sometimes, i find the case makes a creaking sound. which isn't a dealbreaker or anything but it annoys me slightly. mine is an old/not-new version so maybe the materials are different on the new ones and it doesn't creak. i think i like the look of the case for the regular version better, but i wanted the xl version

Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Kart 7 if you're a Mario Kart fan, Castlevania: Mirror of Fate, which makes really good use of the 3D effect. Would still probably recommend the HD version on PSN over it though. Bravely Default's mighty. Kingdom Hearts 3D. Super Mario 3D Land. I've heard the Monster Hunter games are also pretty good, no experience with them though.

If it's a Mario or Legend of Zelda or Pokemon game then there's always a good chance of quality

It's like the 2D games of old, but updated with much more modern graphics and new gameplay mechanics. I haven't played the DS ones, but the Wii one is fun.

I have a regular 3DS and the screen is tinyyyyyy, go for XL-- even though I hear you can see the pixels, it's not true upscale, still worth it
