I'm looking at my oldest Proud save, which is probably from after finishing the game once or twice (to see both movies), and I only have the 'story so far', puppies, and Trinities complete in the journal. I'm right outside the last boss so I'm going to check it out again just to be sure, but I'm 99% sure it worked.

I can confirm that you get Deep Dive without defeating all the Heartless or anything

Having to rewatch the ending again, I remember now there was a line in the Japanese ending that isn't in the English one. Have they maybe added this in the HD version?

I remember talking with a friend about this, who saw this line in an art book and it not being in the English game IIRC (Kairi is just silent).

How are people finding the new Final Mix Heartless?

A mix between cool, interesting and annoying.

Cool additions, interesting designs and ideas to kill them. Annoying that they're mostly found in one spot and you need to kill them to complete the journal. Essentially, they add little but you still got to kill them.

But eh, they're quite alright

I met the Gigas Shadows in Wonderland today. Only managed to kill two of them however. ._.

Hmm. Unlocked Hollow Bastion and completed the Hercules Cup. I'm now at level 44. I wonder if I should level up a bit to prepare for Hollow Bastion. I'm now reaching the point where leveling up starts to take fewer EXP.

I'm really liking the Sliding Dash ability. Its reach is quite far, so it's really useful. Still no Combo Master in sight though...

I chose the Rod at the beginning and got combo master on the 50-somethingth level. Late 50s I think.

Combo Master apparently is level 50 for sword, 54 for shield, and 55 for rod.

I kind of wish I'd picked something other than sword now, I want Luck Up but that's not going to be until level 90 for me

I would level up in HB for the extra stuff you get there (farm high potions from the pots in the entrance hall, the weapon drops from Defenders and Wizards, synth matherials, etc.) I'm currently just past where you go through the library trying to gather items, I don't want to move on because I don't the enemies to get stronger in other worlds while I'm gathering items.

Just arrived at Hollow Bastion. I immediately noticed the new skybox.

So much prettier now.

Hmmm. I guess this might indeed be the time to farm stuff and level up a bit. Should maybe go back and do the coliseum solo and time trial stuff while the enemies are still weak. :3

I usually grind by going back and forth between the Gizmo shop and the hotel hallway after you get Kairi out of Hallow Bastion. Those shield face things start spawning, so you get descent exp pretty fast

A HD version of BBS, hooray! It's not unexpected but it's still good news, BBS was such a fantastic game on the PSP. And surprisingly huge for a PSP game.

lol.. I've never tried proud mode before.. So after throwing dualshock to the wall, I guess proud mode isn't made for me..
