I'm not done yet. I'm still touching up the background and I'm coloring in her wings... somehow....

hnnnng, that is beauteous! Are ya gonna make her wings see through like a dragon fly? Or are they gonna be more like a butterfly and solid?

I am absolutely in love with the background, your use of the pastel colors works wonderfully on the mushrooms and sky. It looks just....perfect. Your entire color palette is just amazing, you have excellent sharp contrast against the fairy and the scenery it's beautiful. <3 I can't wait to see it finished. :3

AND DEM LEGS. I really, really like the legs for some reason. <333 just wow.

I'd just like to say that you inspired me to dl GIMP again...I messed around with it for a few hours last night and was reminded just how awesome it is. Makes me reallllly wish I had one of those digital sketch pads though, as using a mouse is rather difficult and hand-crampy, lol. Can't wait to see your finished product!

And I'm probably going to have the wings transparent. After they're done I think I'm calling it finished.

I love GIMP. Apparently people are surprised I don't use photoshop or something but I don't have that and I don't know how to use it. I know my GIMP. XDDDD



ALSO, should I make the wings multiple colors? Or one solid color? Or like different hues of the same color or what?

I think iridescent like a dragon fly's, so catching different shades of color here and there. Perhaps something like this?

That it gorgeous. BUT YOU FORGOT TO SIGN IT! how am I meant to sell this on ebay if it isn't signed?!

The only thing I would say is maybe the edges on the wings need a few brighter/sharper highlights on them to bring them out a bit more, everything else seems to be in very strong light if you get what I mean, so I think her wings would be catching the light.

It's wonderful though, she looks like shes about to play a trick on some unsuspecting adventurer and make the forest into some sort of maze or something

I'm telling you in my capacity as a unemployed art teacher to sign your stuff. When people rip it off in the future - and stuff this good gets ripped off often, it will make it so much easier to sue their asses

DETENTION! Yeah, well I qualified anyway - to teach in colleges, but I found the experience so off putting I decided I didn't really want to do it after all. Nothing wrong with the students, I really enjoyed working with them. It's just the way colleges are run sucks.
