No no no no Tifa is a horrible friend for wanting to seduce Cloud. If he truly loved Aerith he'd hold out no matter what, because when you are in love you loose all interest in everyone else. If he was actually in love with Aerith he would have no desire to be with Tifa. Therefore, the Highwind scene consisted of nothing but fully-clothed spooning, because Cloud is a nice guy so he just thought letting Tifa sleep on his shoulder was enough. Notice, though, that Cloud is turned away from her. He was obviously remaining celibate, but just letting Tifa feel wanted even when she wasn't.

Plus, this IS FF7, as Sephy shows, "death" is only a technicality. As far as FF7 has told us, the Lifestream, life and death, etc, are so wrapped up in metaphysics anyone with a strong-enough will can bring themselves back to life through force of will.

EDIT - had a thought. CoL, doesn't Aerith's narration mention she considers making avatars in her own image like Sephy, but decides not to? I hope it isn't but maybe SE is teasing us with a resurrection, or something akin?

You people have common sense. A love that could never be, a shot of Cloud putting Aeris in the water is as clear as it gets. It's much clearer than any twisted facts that Cloti ever put together.

And according to her logic we're in denial, twisting facts and won't acknowledge any Clerith proof, so this makes me think that she's either another dupe or a troll
