Hey guys, when Aerith immediately flips her shit and offers to pay some dude who just fell through the roof of her church to be her bodyguard with a date, does anyone remember how Cloud responds?
I ask, because talking to Quex about how Cleriths respond to that scene (what with how the one promised date was actually her idea, not his, and the fact that in light of CC this is an obvious reference to Zack offering her a date when he fell through the roof of the church) I thought I remembered Cloud going "..." after she offered. Which, in pink terms, is an obvious sign of annoyance and can mean nothing else under any circumstances, thus fucking their own argument of "he didn't say no" right up. But I can't be sure of my memory of that fact, and I don't know where to find a game script or anything to check on that.

Nah, Reno arrives long before that moment, you can see him walk in while Aerith is doing fuckall with the flowers. But yes, you read that hand motion the same way I did! This lends it credence. Cloud thought Aerith was stinky (like tuna maybe? lulz) and didn't want her date, but he didn't want to hurt her feelings, so he just shut his fool mouth.

I think she must have found some other fandom to be a little shit in, because she hasn't even showed up on LJ recently. Although LJ probably got smart and fucking IP banned her (can they do that?), haha. She must have gone through 15 troll accounts.

Pink has never meant 'All Cleriths ever', it's always basically been shorthand for 'die for our ship' Cleriths, the ones who against all logic, common sense, canon evidence, etc. Demand that Materia Jesus shall rise again in them. And other insanities not limited to FFVII.
