Ok, so a couple pieces of cool news.

JUST before the end, they refer to it as "Kombat Pack 1" which sounds like it means we've got more DLC on the way (fingers crossed for Spawn).

Apparently there are a SHITTON of Secret Brutalities for stages and characters in the game, and he gets into them in vast amounts of detail, and gives really good how-to stuff to help pull them off. For example - just look how many that Tremor has all together:

and the one from 32:30 in the Kombat Kast

This other person's video of Reptile's secret brutality is my favourite just because of Mileena's dialogue.

Soooo.... yeah. There's a LOT of hidden stuff in the game still apparently insofar as Brutalities are concerned.

While we don't have any additional news about it right now, I've got a few hopes for Kombat Pack 2 character skins:

• Cyber Sub-Zero skin.
• Ripley skin for Sonya.
• Newt skin for Cassie.
• Hicks skin for Johnny.
• Tailed Reptile skin (since the initial designs for Reptile all had one, but it was abandoned due to animation difficulties, but the Xenomorph seems to've solved that issue).

Also, I just found out about a hidden feature (and likely how Cyber-Sub-Zero will be selectable)

To select a character without variation: After selecting a character, press Up, Up on the Variation selection screen to hide your variation selection to your character. Then, when your variation selection is hidden, press Triangle/Y to select that character without a variation selected.

Honestly a little sad that Torr, Reptile, D'Vorah, & Goro didn't get anything unique for their Chestbursters, since they seemed like natural choices.
