I still won't be happy until Cyrax/Sektor/Smoke/Noob/Kabal make a Komeback.

Spoiler: Well...

Sektor won't since he's officially dead since Kuai Liang killed him (and the rest of the cyberized Lin Kuei though Cyrax isn't listed by name). Smoke & Kabal are active revenants in the Netherrealm who you see a lot of during the game, which means that they're Liu Kang's troops now and likely to appear later on. Lastly, Bi-Han is mentioned by Sareena during the assault on the Netherrealm, so it's unclear what's become of Noob Saibot.

I think that the characters that have my individual favourite ones are Johnny Cage, Sub Zero, Reptile, Kenshi, Quan Chi, Ferra/Torr & D'Vorah.

Finally dived into the game
I like it a looooot

Inputs are still disgustingly finicky and for some reason don't read as well as other fighting games do, like they were in MK9 (and they seriously need to fix that shit)

But still, it's pretty goooood

Tried out Takeda's whip variant because holy shit it's so fucking cool but then the inputs keep getting in the fucking way of being able to do anything awesome so I dropped that like it was hot.
Also tried out D'vorah, easily the most borken out of the ones I tried. She's like the goddamn Mitsuru (P4A) of the game. Crazy hitboxes on everything and crazy-ass trips and disables
If Takeda was an unfortunate pain in the ass, I'm gravitating towards Kenshi (the OG yo). Almost no Kombos need directional inputs and Posessed Kenshi has a fuckin' Stand

So yeah. Game's alright. Trying to figure out a nice keyboard layout, because honestly I'm having an easier time using a keyboard to input directionals. That's how much I hate MK's inputs

Ethereal Mileena is easily my favourite character to play out of this whole game. Still getting used to using her intangibility abilities in the right places but there's so much you can do it with it it's hard not to completely adore it.

Shirai Ryu Takeda is a close one as well. All of the fun of Takeda's moveset with the additional perks of Scorpion's teleport and kunai. Finding it hard to lose on this.

As always, Johnny Cage is love. Johnny Cage is life.

Also, Jason's Arcade ending does some good development for Liu Kang's post-MKX motivations.

PC port continues to be janky as fuck as people's save data continues to get wiped and performance issues persist that were supposed to be fixed by the same 15gb patch that broke said save data.

Thankfully I haven't earned very much or jumped the gun on the patch. I think it's safe to say for anyone who bothered getting the PC version, to hold off on any update to the game for a few days to make sure they don't fuck the game up, because it's likely that said update will probably break something and that they'll end up releasing a patch just as large in size to fix the fuckups

Scorpion's Kold War Skin was designed by a fan and was a GameStop exclusive, and seems to have been a big hit, since this is what generated the idea to make ones for the rest of them.
