Movies that made you cry

I'm sure there's at least one movie that made you cry.

I cried while watching:

Titanic (I still cry to this day everytime I watch it. I am not ashamed to admit it)
Bambi
The Lion King
The Fox and the Hound
Life is Beautiful (Loved this movie, although I don't wanna see it ever again because I was down for about a week after watching it.)
Simon Birch
The Champ
Beaches
Moulin Rougue
Father of the Bride
The Notebook (I was a hormotional High School kid. Looking back, I kinda regret crying on this movie)

i have never cried whilst watching a movie but i have gotten the intense feeling of wanting to cry before.
Main one that comes to mind is my dog skip , i dont know why i felt like it. it was a good ending , no one was hurt or nothing.
Skip just grew old and died but it still gave me that feeling of wanting to just let loose and bawwwl. XD

Yeah, I've shed a tear or two watching these as well lol. (How can father of the bride well you up?)
Spirited Away made me shed a tear as well (going to get round to watching Grave of the Fireflies which I've been told is a bit of a tear jerker too.)

While i never cried during a movie, there was one movie that almost made me shed a tear during the final: "Dancer in the Dark" by Lars Von Trier.

I was a bit touched by the fact that the main character
starts to sing seconds before she dies

I've never heard of Dancer in the Dark before. I just Wikied it and it sounds pretty neat, though. I have a new movie I have to watch now, thanks! :monster:

My mother noted I cried like a girl when I was 4 years old after I watched the movie Ghost. Though I never recall such events.

I only now look disheartened with sad films. Recent one being Rurouni Kenshin Trust and Betrayal. Else if I never wept since I was 12.

Cookie Monster

I've never been brought to tears before. But, I suppose certain emotions have been stirred by a film. I can recall one film in particular, Schindler's List.

As beautiful as I think it is, Schindler's List never even got me close to crying. Or the end of Saving Private Ryan/Empire of the Sun/any other Steven Spielberg movie.

Oddly enough, I find "I Am Legend" to be pretty depressing. I like the film but when his dog died I felt....very deeply sad.

"Children of Men" got me feeling with the ending.

And I felt a twinge of sadness during the end of Donnie Darko too.

There are others but those are the ones that come to mind at the moment :monster:

I believe there are going to be sequels to I Am Legend and Donnie Darko... Which sounds really lame to me, but whatever.

But maybe I'll be okay if there's a zombie Will Smith involved.

How can there be a sequel to Donnie Darko?

And I'm pretty sure the writer said he wasn't going to do one or something in the Director's Commentary. I'd have to watch it again though...

I wondered that at first too, but then I found out they just used the little sister. XD

The writer's not involved with it.

And I'm pretty sure the I Am Legend film is very different from the book.

Oh I forgot. I cried while watching Edward Scissorhands and Ghost too. I was very young when I saw these films so that's probably why.

Hm I'm very sensitive usually so I'm almost always expected to start crying when I watch sentimental movies. Here are a few movies that I can remember from waaaay back (okay from when I was eight actually, but that's still a long time ago . . .):

-Schinderler's List (bawled like a baby after watching the scenes of the Jews int eh deathcamps)
-I am Legend (When Sam died, that was just really, really sad.)
-Bambi :(
-Titanic
-Yesterday (it's a movie about a woman with AIDS who has one daughter and lives in a rural community . . . God, just thinking about it tears me up; it was just beautiful, watch it if you can, it has English subtitles)

It's hard to remember the names. There are a few movies that had that effect on me.

Xiao Ao jiang Hu - There is a sequence that Linghu's master suspects him and treats him so bad as he's guilty...

Emperor of the sea - When Gong Bok gets killed / When Dajin dies.

Pink Panther - The "American accent teacher" sequence... It really made me cry outa laugh

I remember crying in Moulin Rougue when I saw it in the theatre. Saw it again last night. Didn't come remotely close to crying. Ewan McGregor sure gets me hot and bothered though. Hah!

Movies with anything even remotely sad seem to make me cry XD Here's a list of ones that really got me going though:

Titanic
A Walk To Remember
Where the Red Fern Grows
Bambi
Susan's Diary for Nicholas
Moulin Rougue
Black Beauty
I Am Legend

...Just to name a few :monster:

I'm a huge sap when it comes to films. It doesn't really even matter if the film's good or not. I've definitely lost count of all the films that could fit this category.
