Just an observation, but I noticed that the staff give a friendly reminder about certain issues. Mako informed me my signature was a little large and I didn't see anything hostile about it. It was very respectful. As a new member and not knowing most of what happens behind closed doors, I am rather impressed on how things are handled here. I don't see one bit of arguing and things appear to be settled right away.
That's just my two cents.

Brand new members can't edit their own posts. Just keep posting around a bit and then you'll get that ability.

That could be the options you set in edit options. I'm not having this problem and no one else seems to have brought it up.

Yeah, it's one of the measures we've taken to thwart spambots that bypass our systems (new members can't post links or images either), as well as people that register just for abusive purposes.

Not sure if the current limit is right though - let me know if you want it lowered.

I'm going to fight the bandwagon and say I'm tired of the snooty know it all members with their heads so far up their anuses that they could teach me a few things about anatomy spouting their crap like it's literary gold and giving the fandom more of a bad name.

It's bad enough that people think you're all fat pimply basement dwelling trolls with no job or social life to speak of.

Also, no. If one of you guys believes someone else is smug about something, say 'no u' and move on. Anyone complaining about other people posting like they think they're better than others, also makes you seem like you want to think you're better than others because you point out that others post like they think they're better than others. Err. Yeah.

Yes thats true, but i sense that for example the recent messaging thingy (can't rmember the bloody name) at the bottom of the page. that seemed as though it was decided by u and mako without even mentioning it to staff, actually it was mako, who went from...hmm dunno..to..u know what...i will do it, in about 2 minutes.

And for those who disaggree with ACF staff discussing and coming to a decison on ideas and matters, it seemed more like that back then, than it does now, all we hear from now is mako.
