I can get on that when I'm back at my home PC. (JPG though, ew.) In the meantime, Pixel's original logo might be the right size, that's around here somewhere.

Hey Flint, did you get a chance to update that new logo to the right size and format?

Not yet, I'm only now posting from my home PC for the first time since Monday night. I'll probably have to do it on Sunday.

Looking through the channel, the person seems to have uploaded mostly videos about FFXV, all of it 2 days ago. The second is the same but 11 hours ago. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them were taken from other people. I'd have to brush up on youtube current rules but I'm pretty sure they're breaking some by doing that. Are the podcast videos monetized?

That's really weird. Ive reported 3 accounts with that podcast up. All are different lengths, over 2 hours long, but the original is only 1.30ish

The problem with youtube is that it's allowed / not stopped / etc unless someone complains about it.

We should probably review if our front page has the proper copyright notice. I know for sure we don't have a 'yeah do whatever you want with it' statement on there (creative commons license).

But yeah. Whoever's behind that, have him banned. As Gabriel can attest to, just one DMCA notice / takedown will severely harm the account already.

Second, we should probably look into monetization of the youtube videos ourselves. I can't demand that I get monies for the videos or podcasts because I'm doing nothing about the making of or hosting of the videos, but... donations are welcome, :monster:.

I have stuff monetised on there, but its really not much. Since I started monetising a few years ago, I've recieved a £60 payment a year ago. And I'm due another 60 next month. If I was able to monetise that 180k view video, we'd have make a nice bit of money, which would be split between the Claymore and Jason.

That vid says "monitoring for possible review". I have no idea whats causing it. And I don't think there's a way to find out.

The podcasts and LPs, etc have probably made about £2 altogether lol.

I have to say, having just finally finished the last audiobook (well not counting that I have to wait for Part 3 / 4 of Case of Shinra, I'm really really disappointed that the audiobooks aren't a bigger attraction. The production is amazing and they are incredibly good stories on their own merits, even the FF13 -episode i- . All the voice actors you got nail their roles, a few personal favorites the voice actor for President Shinra (his voice gives me goosebumps at how dignified yet evil it is. Like a human Shere Khan), Barret (a voice actor so good he permanently changed how Barrett sounds in my head) and Nanaki (really nails the brief line of dialogue we get from AC and develops it into a very soothing voice.) They're all really really good though, the ones in the FF13 one nail the original voices. Also whoever is narrating these has a very pleasant, easy to listen to voice.

Gush over, just wanted to say I really loved them and am going to promote the hell out of the m to everybody I know.

The audiobooks are a hard sell. Doesn't matter whether they're well done or not. People see fan made, and instantly think of shitty fandubs. Theres also the barrier of people not knowing about them. Theres no real promotion I can do for them. They spread by word of mouth, or people stumbling upon them. Thats yet another barrier. Nobody shares our content.

I was thinking of doing a vid sumarising the timeline between FF7 and AC bringing in voice clips. That might show people what those stories are.

Putting the podcast on youtube is just to draw people in, it will never earn anything.

My time on youtube has shown me that collabs between channels that can benefit each-other are a pretty good ways of getting your content shown to more people. I found a lot of cool channels because they did collabs with channels I'd already found.

Is it outright shown in what order events from OTWTAS occured? I think some dialog in DoC would help too.

Yeah, you can pretty much figure it out, since character's stories intersect. It's like putting together a jigsaw.

Hey Yop, I sent you a PM with the link to download the new episode of the pod so that you can upload it to the server.

Have you gotten a chance to set up the FTP so that you don't have to do this for me anymore?

Im not sure if its because of cuts you've made, or Audacity bugging out, but there are a few moments where there are loud spikes. I don't like audacity, so I don't use it much. Id imagine it's where it messes up on the cut.
