Got two Lapras from my last two Easter Event 2K eggs!! I'm 2 Pokémon away from a gold Johto badge thing, and have been enjoying getting into it again with the weather improvements.

Got a few Sunkerns yesterday (which are hard done by in my area) and like.. 17 Chikoritas and Bulbasaurs each when I was playing with my friends. We were out for like.. 3-4 hours. I live for these events!!

So, at the end of the Adventure Event, I'm at level 29 & got my Pupitar evolved into a Tyrannitar. She's got an Ideal Defensive Moveset with perfect HP & Defense, and Attack at 13/15, so she's 96% overall IV. I've been non-stop wandering and getting candies for her, and caught a few Larvitar recently to help.

My goal is to max her out at whatever level I'm on before putting her on a gym. She's currently at 2654 – making her my second strongest Pokémon (next to my totally maxed out Vaporeon at 2676). That being said, if I finish powering her up to the max at my current level, she'll top out at a ridiculous 3174 (if current upgrades of +52 CP/half-level continue).

I've finally evolved my Tyrannitar too. I'm not sure where it stands IV wise though.

Gonna do an evolution spree after I walked my Mareep to 125 candies (event definitely helped since they're rare in my area >_<). That with my Larvitar to Tyra, I'll have a complete dex sans legendaries, Deliberd and Smergle. And still about 300K away from lv 37... sooo far xD

I'm getting my Tyranitar her last 3 candy upgrade today, and it'll be 4 per from here on out, and she's my strongest one now, with room ta grow. Should probably look at doing an evolution binge or two soon to try and push to level 30.

Also, I'm going out to some nests to try and candy farm a Dodrio & Kingdra today!!

Thanks! I joined a facebook group for the new regionals so I got my Corsola, Unknown and Heracross for fun.

I use an iphone app PokeGenie for IVs and found it pretty helpful.

Basically from June 13-20 (thankfully after E3!!) Fire and Ice Pokemon will be more popular, as well as double EXP (again) and Lucky Eggs being half off on the store.

Yay for new event! Boo for double exp. We just had it! I need double candy to get rid of all these hoarded mons from the last events.

I grabbed a Corsola while I was in Texas! I'm curious how a Facebook group helped with that stuffs, now. I've been using the Silph Road's nest map to hunt stuff in my area. Finally landed enough Doduo to get a Dodrio (leaving Muk & Dragonite as my last Kanto region pokémon). The Horses nest was in a super small park, and it was too hot to bother with, so mayhaps I'll land a Kingdra another time.

I caught a Pupitar outside my Apt (two perfect IVs same as my Tyranitar and the other at 10/15), and so my Tyranitar is solidly into the 2800s now. Hoping to get more progress and get her on a gym, as my now second strongest Pokémon, my Vaporeon is still the weakest Pokémon on basically any gym I can find at 2600, so it's tough to keep them on for extended periods of time.

Hatched a Larvitar with my last 10k egg!!! Got 27 candies from it, and then put them all into my Tyranitar with 3 to spare. (Last upgrade was +26 and not +52), so I maxed her out at my current level, which means she's now maxed out at 3148.

Time to go find a gym to put her on!!!

Damn! Good job! Yeah she sounds like quite the majestic beast.

My friend has the same issue with being at the bottom of gyms.. Gyrados and Dragonite seem to be the high CP ones stacked... also Blisseys, we built a near all Blissey gym to lv7 in my town lol.

Basically it's what I did with Pixel.. You give an account to someone to log in in their region and they catch the Pokemon - so a facebook group has vetted trusted hunters who do it for people. Basically just for dex completion.

Oh, that's neat of them! Swapped out my buddy for a Phanpy to work on evolutions I'm still working on.

SO excited! Really glad that gyms will be completely wiped and disabled in order to facilitate the new Gym gameplay features. So looking forward to a fresh start! And new co-op gameplay features also sounds exciting! I can't wait!

I'm really interested in seeing what the new mechanics that they come up with are gonna be. I think it'll involve maintaining your Pokémon in the gym, and less "set it and forget it" if any of the data mining turns out to be accurate.

Yeah there were a lot of gym notifcations in the date, such as "Your Snorlax is being attacked!" and "Gym raid occurring now!" ..so you could potentially go back and defend your own gym, and join other players you might not know if you see a gym being attacked.

That's one of the big things that Ingress had (plus the faction chat) that I have really missed in GO.
