I'm not sure what to expect, tbqh. It's been years since I've been in contact with the series it won't make any sense for me most likely.

The story revolves around Claus Valca and Lavie Head, a young courier pilot and his navigator, and their adventures in the floating world of Prester. In this romantic sky world based on stylized Victorian fashion and society, two countries, Anatoray and Disith are engaged in a long and bloody war under the supervision of the mysterious Guild. Claus and Lavie, piloting their vanship (a small, stub-winged aircraft) find themselves involved in a plot surrounding a mysterious little girl named Alvis Hamilton, whom they must deliver as "cargo" to the much-feared neutral battleship "Silvana".
Last Exile draws its main themes from the steam punk genre inspired by the blending of 17-19th century European and Imperial territories with some modern technological advances. The importance of clean water during 17-19th century plays a huge role in the characterization of Claus and Lavie. Their characters and possibly the characters of Alex Row and Claus' mom are inspired by the famous 1866 cartoon "Death's Dispensary" that highlighted the dangers of the disease "Cholera" in the poorly engineered and polluted 19th century London water system.
Apparently it's some sort of reimagining.
I would have rather had some sort of continuation.
WHAT ABOUT CARDCAPTOR SAKURA GAIZ?
I'm not sure if I really want to wait five hours just for this if it sucks. I guess I'll be holding judgment on this until I see it. :3
Yea, If I remember correctly, the ending kinda sucked back then. I wish there could've been somehow an OVA or some sort of conclusion.
Did you start watching Monster?
Tell me if it's good and if so I'll give it a go.
I started watching monster 3 years ago, and never finished it cuz I went back to being poor and I never picked it back up. So I'm looking for torrents with the whole show in one package.
As recommended earlier, you should watch Monster too.
If you like Gankutsuou you're going to love Mononoke. The animation and art style are quite alike and the medicine seller is just awesome.
Nice avatar, btw.
Yes yes yes. Gankutsuou is my favorite anime and Mononoke was ace. Neither of them really have a comedy bit in them, though, except for that random moment in the Wood arc in Mononoke when the Samurai goes "Rar!"
