What the FUCK does this have to do with resident evil? Granted the other 3 movies didnt have a whole lot in common, but at least you could follow the transition.

I dunno, it's not like the movie franchise for RE can get any worst. After RE3, it literally hit rock bottom. I seriously can't see this being worst. The action has potential to at least be enjoyable. Same with Wesker. I'm a bit hopeful.

Alice was a really cool character back in RE1, but she's become truly an annoyingly overpowered, ridiculous, and hamfisted protagonist in this film series. I'm seriously just trying to ignore her and just focus on the actual established RE characters that will be in this movie looking cool and awesome. Like Wesker, Claire, and hopefully Chris.

I seriously stopped taking Alice seriously when she got telekinetic powers and a clone army. It's like some sort of abomination you'd find in the deep recesses of ff.net. "Mary Sue" doesn't even begin to describe her.

I know Wesker will lose but I'm hoping he'll hurt her a lot and look badass doing it. The actor they have for him looks fitting for the role. And again. Majini ftw.

I really do wish they would've used George Romero's RE script or something. Or hell, just reboot the franchise and make something less fail and more in line with the actual plot (if you could call it that) of the games.

The fucking psychic Alice clones and shit need to die in a giant pool of writhing Uroburos tentacles, while Wesker and Excella laugh maniacally. Throw the real Alice in too, for good measure.

RE5 certainly didn't live up to the expectations after the 4th, but I don't think it was necessarily bad. It certainly should've been a much better game though. Like seriously.

I like Wesker, he's one of my favorite characters. I'm glad they finally tied his ass up with one epic showdown with Chris.

Now hopefully he will stay dead and can die a badass and not turn in the RE equivalent of Bowser, with Chris as Mario.

@RE5: I agree with Paradox it wasn't bad it was just it was a MASSIVE anti-climax really....Especially, given the hype it received and the method of advertising really built it up.

They really need to move beyond the whole "can't move and shoot" bullshit, and fucking evolve. Oh, and it'd be nice if it was scary again, and not just about a badass tanking through a bunch of freaks.

Dead Space is everything RE5 should've been, and more. A beautiful balance of badass action and ball dropping horror. In a sense, you could say its the spiritual successor of Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

Here's to hoping RE6 (whenever the fuck it decides to come) evolves and wins back its crown in survival horror and action.

Great. So that's one good thing I can look forward to and thank RE5 for. Resolution. No more Wesker coming back from the dead, bullshit. We had a plot and a...*gasp* resolution in a sequel! That's so rare these days.

Now they have room to actually be innovative and actually write a NEW villain! There's hope!

I wish RE5 was a better game for Wesker's send off, but he was awesome nonetheless. It was complete global...saturation...of Wesker awesome.

In terms of a new Resident Evil game, I'd love to see something in the vein of RE: Outbreak. An online scenario game that can fully utilize the online multiplayer elements of today on the PS3 and 360.

I have a friend who loves this film series. She hasn't played the games, but she is the only one of my immediate friends who has an interest in anything Resident Evil.

As such, I feel incredibley guilty when talking bad about the movies. Read into my masked contempt in the following comment as you will.

"Oh yeah Alice is pretty damn awesome. Yeah it looks pretty interesting, I'll definitely be seeing this."

Also, for all it's faults at least RE5 convinced at least one other of my friends to play RE with me ;_;
