I guess Hell House is that world's version of the platypus? Some higher being going for irony?I'll be disappointed if some of those monsters don't make it into the remake. Some of them, like Hedgehog Pie and Hell House, add a lot to their respective areas, I think.
But why do I not remember the pony?
Also, where is the triceratops tank?
The katakana for Gighee (a play on 'Gee-gee', an insulting nickname for a bad horse) can also be read as "Ziggy", the persona of David Bowie, "Ziggy Stardust". The model is largely based on this pun, looking like Ziggy Stardust, and with a guitar for a tail. Both Gighee and Christopher use song attacks, and Christopher uses an attack called Stardust March only if Gighee is alive.

He's in the North Cave. In the area with the Magic Pots, and appears with Christopher.

I found this on the Wiki earlier about Gighee:

I mean who or what made hell-house?
What's that Ghost Ship doing? Are they connected?
Are they all friends of Christopher?
Why does Ghirofelgo live in the Shinra mansion? How did he get there to begin with?
I remember quite a few of those but like Tenny, I'm scratching my head about the pony. Is it just me or does anyone else see a guitar neck with a lit cigarette on the end instead of a tail?
No matter how realistic and gritty FFVII gets I am convinced that Square will be aware enough of how important the classic monster designs are. The contrast between the often serious story and the ridiculous monsters is an integral part of FFVII's humor.
If anybody is doubting this assessment, then perhaps they may feel less doubt when observing the monsters from this list that ended up appearing in Crisis Core: Mover, Hedgehog Pie, Dorky Face and Foulander.
Time will tell if my gut feeling that *most* monster designs will return in the remake is correct or not.
I reckon though that they will move the placement of, or completely ignore, the enemy "Sculpture". This enemy appears in the Whirlwind Maze. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ROBOTIC ENEMY EVEN DOING THERE?!?!?!
And, of course, you fight icicles.
