I had a friend over last night so haven't had much time to play yet but I'm really enjoying it so far. Perhaps surprisingly, my favourite thing to do is fly and my least favourite is the water. Or maybe that's not surprising, I'm not sure :monster:

This is a really fun game. It's surprisingly tough to get and maintain first place, and I'm only playing it on normal. It took me 3 attempts to get first place on the very first race for example. I'm liking the challenge though - same with the drift challenges, took me a while to get a hang of them.

In my student union bar (Jim's) we have a huge TV that's hooked up to various games consoles. All the games are multiplayer (obviously, for beer+competitive gaming). I played some Mario Kart yesterday before I bought this on the way home, and I'll be suggesting this game for the PS3. I wanted to play it so badly last night that I put it on when my non-gamer friend was in and made her do multiplayer with me, and she thought it was great.

Also yes, let's arrange taimus. I think I'm going out tonight (friends from uni are heading back "home", whether that be a couple of towns away or a few thousand miles) but I really don't want to. It's likely I'll drive, not drink, then drive home.

Internet may also be an issue. I've managed to download updates and get on the playstation store so perhaps not, but I'm currently using my phone's 3G to internet. That's another long story. I'm interested to see how well it'll work with online play :monster:

Yeah, it is tough, but it's a good tough. It's not hard to hold first place because of some insta-kill blue shell, it just takes precise driving.

Ok, epic Sonic Racing night needs to happen after I get back, with everybody. I will have the distinct disadvantage of not having played for a while, while the rest of you get to practice together, but hopefully I'll be able to pick back up and dominate you all.

I'm free any time Force. Tonight, tomorrow night, or even during the day at some point. I still have some Christmas shopping to do but the timeframe for that is malleable so :monster:

I like that they sang the lyrics as a choir rather than a soloist, works to mitigate some of the song's incredible cheesiness :monster:

Very nice vid.

There's some random harmony going on in parts that sounds kind of odd, though. But can't argue against an awesome a capella choir. :monster:

Sonic 1 and 2 are already on iOS?

EDIT: Ah, it's a shiny new widescreen version with an updated soundtrack etc. Well I hope it comes to consoles too, since the Sonic CD port was fantastic. Even though I hated Sonic CD.
