I am actually pretty impressed by that. Score one for practical effects!

Also, they make LA look like NY all the time, (except when they accidentally get a Carl's Jr. in the shot, because it's Hardees in the east parts of the USA).

Well... I guess I'm gonna be in the minority here, but... I really, REALLY like the suit. Far better than the one Tommy was wearing. Why? Because it IS a suit a high-schooler, who earned pocket-money with third-rate fighting managed to make. And while the old one was cool and accurate... it looked like a suit professionals would make. Yeah, Peter Parker wouldn't be able to do that. He would be able to make something like this in the picture: clumsy, hand-drawn and rather odd, which would show his mentality as a teenager, who was never on under the spotlight and wanted desperately to look "cool" (and failing miserably about it -sorry, I always thought that the Spiderman costume looked stupid-)... until uncle kicked the bucket.

So... yeah. I like it.

New suit design is meh. But, I will say I like it better than that atrocity Ben Reilly wore during his time as Spider-man. But then, I liked the cheap-as-all-hell version Nicholas Hammond wore for the crappy live action tv series back in 78 better than Ben's.

.....This suit doesn't look any less tailor made. It also looks a lot more trendy/streamlined for marketability.

Original suit, please. :/ Spider-Man doesn't need a re-design that is too afraid of looking different and yet also too afraid of looking the same all at the exact same time.

It's just that finally having a pic that was well lit and not all dark ignited my hatred for this new suit all the more.
