I'm watching England lose to Norway at the moment - on half of my screen, while I TLS with the other.

Edit: England equalised within 10 seconds of me making this post.

Hooray! It took a good few minutes of time-wasting near the corner flag (always a popular tactic with the watching crowd), but they did it!

It was a fun game, definitely, but I'm not sure I'm hooked yet. I'll watch England's remaining matches and probably the final, regardless of who's playing.

I know the sport is one that I love but there's also an element of familiarising myself with the competitors, and that takes time. Until that happens, it's difficult to get emotionally involved, and that's what will ultimately get me hooked.

Women's World Cup: The Germany/France quarterfinal was amazing, it went to penalties and I had to miss it. The USA beat China so that's gonna be a fantastic semifinal between them.

I'm rooting so hard for Japan in the World Cup. Don't even really know why. I just really like the way they play.

They're a really classy team, they pass beautifully and never panic. You should've seen them in 2011, I was all in for the USA to win but I was super impressed with Japan.

Canada/England has been very exciting in the first half. England jumped to a 2-0 in the first 15 minutes but Canada has roared back and scored. The game is now 2-1 at the half.

I said I'd watch this game but now I'm missing it. Come on England!

Watch it, watch it, watch it. The game has been very exciting, Canada is throwing everything they have at England to tie it up.

So England is actually heading to semifinals to face Japan. That's gonna be an interesting, the newbies vs the defending champions. Seeing Canada go was sad though, I was hoping they make it to the semifinals. This is why you don't allow two early goals in a match, then it's basically impossible to come back even if you play better than the other team the rest of the match.

I'm losing my shit over the USA/Germany game. Germany missed a penalty, they never miss. Thank fucking god.

FUCK YEAH USA WON!!!!!! They shut out top scoring Germany. The game was amazing, I've completely lost my shit.

Does esports count as sport? I've been watching a lot of Dota 2 this week because of the International 2015 and I'm so hyped about how well EG (Evil Geniuses) are doing. They've already made it to the top 3 and I hope that they will make it to the finals and win the whole thing.

Does anyone else here watch esports? I've also got into CS GO because the game is so much fun to watch.

I've watched some Starcraft games at one point, which was entertaining at the time, but it just never really stuck. I'd rather play games than watch them, I guess . I'm also not very competitive (or good) myself, so, idk.
