What do you mean "how she refers to him?" If that's the same thing we were talking about pages and pages ago, I think it just means they didn't have sex - not that they weren't a couple. People have believed and not believed it, I honestly don't give a crap either way. But I do find people's idea that such a relationship (sexless) is impossible to be a little silly for a 15-17 year old.

Basically I was wondering if Aerith referring to Zack as her first love in the original script was an accurate translation. And also whether some quote in some Ultimania then described them as having a platonic relationship. And how they could possibly be reconciled.

In short- yes, the 'first love' is from the original, and the 'platonic' quote is especially interesting because the platonic is stated in kana- so it's the English word platonic, and the 'love' is the Japanese for romantic, passionate love.

So, yeah. Chaste romance.

Question. Why is it a problem that the Mass Effect romances get its own thread? Topics get split out of the LTD all the time. You ONLY want to discuss it if its in this thread? If all the posts were straight-up deleted I'd understand the frustration...but what difference does this make?

Going off topic but still talking about FFVII related bullshit is a lot different than going and literally changing the topic to ME with no hopes of it returning to FFVII related (or hell even FF in general) bullshit without intervention.

Personally I don't see what the big deal is that the conversation was moved to another thread. You can still talk about it, right?


Edit: Yes, our conversation about remakes/sequels was just moved only a couple days ago. I didn't see anyone bitching about that.
