Question #2: How did so many people that never go into the LTD thread even discover that the topic had shifted to ME anyway? (even before the name change) That was amazing, really.

It makes a difference because it's crap. After less than a day (and 2-3 pages) of being off topic, suddenly there's an AMAZING BREAKTHROUGH IN THE LTD THAT MUST BE DISCUSSED RIGHT NOW NO TIME FOR ANYTHING ELSE.

Also, I will call anyone who says that this thread is about "FFVII related bullshit" a liar to their face. I know I can find stuff that isn't~

Every legitimate discussion develops in this thread it gets split dude. Its not to protect the sanctity of the LTD - maybe it was this time, I dunno - but it helps that legitimate discussion to be in a legitimate thread.

it's just the thread is face down in the water dead. It has literally been Vendel posting tards from Youtube, people going 'HERE ARE MY ARGUMENTS AGAINST THAT'/'are you really betting cleriths from youtube are normal cleriths', miniwank, then nothing new happens. Everyone here admits that Cloud and Tifa are at least, the couple that ends up happening. I just don't really see the point of a debate topic when no debating has really gone on for at least three incarnations.

I'm not fan of the LTD either, I show up when they are discussing other facets of FF7, and the fact of that matter is that it DOES produce proper discussions that get split out LIKE THE MASS EFFECT ONE.

That many-page topic on Cloud comes to mind, or the more recent discussion of what Square should do with the Compilation, topics on Crisis Core, etc.

The actual debate is bullshit, I agree. But I can't deny that it does fart out some worthy topics now and again that wouldn't come about because otherwise no one would be in the FF sections.

I think it's all detail oriented. Even if people agree with the conclusion, no one agrees with the smaller things.

Like whether or not Cloud had special feelings for Aerith.
Or if Aerith truly loved Cloud.
Or if Aerith got over Zack.
Or if _____ translation means _________
Or what is canon
Or if the inclusion of Aerith and Cloud means anything in AU
Or if that blip on the logo is materia or some incredibly conspicuous completely round piece of meteorite
Or if Vendel will ever admit to be a closeted Cloud-Aerith fan

I agree with you Aki, it's dead in here. And I don't mind off topicness, that's the cool part about this thread. BD I do love talking about hilarious findings in the LTD, but those have died down // become repeats. It's really no big deal being off topic sometimes to me, but Force makes a point. Why are you upset about getting a new thread created about something you like? Lol. I don't see why people are posting trying to get the thread shut down though, going "OMG THIS THREAD IS A DISEASE" fuck ya'll, there are some good memories in these threads. BD

If it's such a disease, IGNORE IT. Everyone is saying how the LTD has infected the Forums, but I see more Roleplay spam and ME spam (or whatever the theme is at the time xD) than LTD spam. So what's the big deal? Lol. Again, I use Dessies as an example. No one goes in and says "YOUR ROLE PLAY IS A DISEASE". Just post where you like, and have fun with it. Not a big deal. O_O
