Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

I thought the movie was pretty epic. Not a great movie, and definitely no Oscars outside of special effects and stuff, but still enjoyable for the same reasons that I like Advent Children. lol

But

I wanted Devastator to eat the twins. They had some funny lines but mostly annoyed me.

I totally called it that Optimus was going to die. Ever since seeing him fight multiple bots in the woods with Sia Labouf shouting, "OPTIMUS!" in the trailer, I totally knew he would die, so I actually found myself laughing at this part.

However what I didn't know

is that he would be revived by the end of the movie.

Also I must say that I was happy with the increase in robot-on-robot violence. Also

Optimus Prime had an increase in his badass factor,

which was nice.

I am more satisfied with Optimus in this film than the first. Pussy factor was high in movie 1 but not this one!. But

how could he beat 3 Decepticons, Megatron, which was supposedly superior to him in the first film, now while he couldn't even shoot Megs right in the first fim? Lolololol

What the hell was with Ironhide and Ratchet appearing so little throughout the movie? And I thought Bumblebee was pretty insignificant as well - and Megatron, like EJ said, was supposed to be supposedly superior in the first film, and in the second one he basically sucks. The first movie was a hell lot better in my opinion, in terms of plot, characterization, and acting. Although, I won't deny that the action here was pretty badass.

And speaking of which, what happened to the twins anyways? I remember them helping each other to beat Devestator, but we don't see them after that.

And why the hell did I spent the entire film making love to a Satellite?

I doubt it could be done right anyway. Not by Micheal Bay. Regular TF is probably the boundary of how far he can go into the fantastical without being too horribly stupid that it's unwatchable.

Both, actually. Tbh, the second film showed more promise of Bay blending small bits of artistic talent in between some of the BOOM BOOM BOOM. I cba to remember the paritcular moments, but I think you know what I mean if you've seen the movie. It's good for him to be leaving, for one, because it'd be nice to see another director's interpretation of the franchise.
