Haven't heard anything about the Optimus Jetprime fusion, hoping thats just a hoax tbh. Jetfire on his own seems pretty badass though, with his old cranky ways. Even if it is a significant departure from the original.

There seems to be an awful lot of pretty much canon fodder bots in this film. Jolt, Mudflap, Skids and Sideswipe/ways particularly stand out. The latter especially because there seems to be absolutely nothing to him.

Also its pissing me off that Sideways/swipe/'tever has wheels instead of actual feet.

worse case scenario, the fans will be pissed off at Michael Bay/Gay if he does pyrotechnics and guitar solo and just 70% under Shia's asshole.
But judging from the trailers, it seems there's a fairly decent amount of transformer scenes alone. I'm just not sure if it's standalones or complete with Shia *facepalm*. Either way, as Big Boss says, it will be sausage fest if 70% is spent with... Shia's goatse. If they want to waste screen time with humans, I say go for Megan Fox's toned body and tits than just Shia.

Beyond G1 Transformers, I do not know much. I've seen some of the earlier Japanese (G1 Japanese?) Transformers anime, and that's it. The comic totally killed the story, in my opinion. All of this means I do not know who this 'Fallen' character is.

As for the movie, I would be pleased to see it. Not so much because I think the first one was a great story, but because I do believe it was a great action film. I don't care about the human actors too much; in G1 there were plenty of episodes that did not feature humans...
