And on a more constructive note, can people stop purporting the mistranslation of "North Pole" that is "Knowlespole." There is no such thing. It's "North Pole" in Japanese. The Cetra didn't call it that. The "Knowlespole" is another gift from the Sony localization department.

It's actually not Not exactly, anyway. The Japanese name is still a bastardized version and not just how you'd normally say 'North Pole'.

FFVII location = ノルズポル
Real one = ノースポール (or at least for things with the same name, like the flower or town, because Japanese has its own name for the place )

It's obvious what's it's meant to be, really. Name of the frozen area in the north. But it was still a mangled version in Japanese too

It doesn't really translating into anything, it's just a bunch of sounds But the 'r/l' sound in 'North' would be more pronounced, and 'Pole' would be a short vowel. So like, 'Nolthpol' or something

But sometimes they just change around the English names so they're written/pronounced differently (like FFXII's Gabranth, Ashe, etc.), so maybe this is one of those cases.
