Naughty Dog can take my money now if they want to, having an updated version of the Uncharted series on the PS4 would be amazing. If they ddo the same for The Last of Us they can take my money now too.

I've been playing Golden Abyss on the Vita, is ok really. Nothing in the game is bad or good except for the graphics that are always nice.

I'm not good at aiming using the motion control. I tried so hard to get on board with it and I reached an OK level with Sniper rifles but then I just turned it off.

Evan Wells: It's not so much a transition period, actually. We've asked them to lead the project. They are excited as veterans of the Uncharted franchise to take the responsibility and they're doing great.

Are we all going to avoid discussing "A Thief's End"? Or do we think that makes it too obvious that they want us to think he's going to die?

I would say it looks darker than the previous games, but they all start out looking like they're dark and twisty and end up being just as light-hearted as the rest.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was Nate's last game, for better or worse.

idk, could be that he finally decided to stop hoisting? Like, one more run. Or, they could kill him off. Or Sully... (nnnnooooo!!!!!!) Or thief = antogonist? One can only speculate. Also, I'm gonna have to get a PS4 now \o/

It wasn't the first thing I noticed, Tenny, but I definitely did make note of it when he was pushing himself up, hehe.

And I'm afraid to consider deaths in this game. It does seem highly likely, but at the same time, maybe they are just talking about the thieving aspect of Drake. He's been out of the game for a long time, but is taking on the "thief" persona one last time...then putting it to rest and just being DRAKE...no dying...please...

It's being speculated that he's only back in the game because he's being forced to, possibly by the kidnapping of Elena or their child (if they have one).

He better have a good reason for getting back into the thieving. Is Elena missing? Perhaps his child in some sort of taken-esque scenario? hrmmmmmmmmmmmmrghh

To be honest, Drake doesn't sound torn up enough for Elena and/or child to have been taken or something. Perhaps he or his family has been threatened, but there isn't enough urgency in their dialogue for it to be a rescue mission, in my opinion.

I didn't noticed the ring at all, I went back and looked at the trailer to see the ring and got distracted by all the pretty footage again. Same thing happened with the trailer for Uncharted 3 when someone (most likely Tenny) mentioned Elena was wearing a wedding ring. :monster:

In case someone here didn't see/hear about this, the scratched message in the cage says "For we receive the due reward of our deeds" from Luke 23:41.

Pretty clever, it's the line spoken by the thief that was crucified next to Jesus. That could either bode poorly given that, you know, he was crucified, or well given that he was the thief that was redeemed and told that he would be in paradise.

Yeah, that was my impression too. That it's more of a 'let's do this one last time' type of thing.

I'd rather have Elena IN the game (than have her sitting at home with a kid) tbh. (I don't buy into the whole 'we left our child at home' that you see in TV shows and movies all the time. (Both) parents don't leave their child like that irl. Also I wouldn't want Drake to go adventuring if he had indeed become a father, I'd think of that as pretty selfish. Lots of fathers and characters in games etc do that, but still: selfish. Opinions.)

Anyway, gameplay - I can't wait to shotgun some skeletons :muhaha:
