The unbroken string of brutal death metal and grindcore has been broken. I wanted to put on Public Castration Is a Good Idea, which is probably more excruciatingly intense than anything I'd listened to this week, but I didn't have it on my iPod, or even converted to a format my iPod could use. No matter, this is awesome. Just awesome in a completely different way.

If this wasn't a major influence on Godspeed You! Black Emperor, I will eat my hat. (Not that I'm wearing a hat, mind you).
