This album is basically everything I hoped it would be. If you didn't like Wintersun's first album you probably won't like this, but if you're prepared to accept Wintersun's evolution to an even more epic progressive metal act then you will probably love this album. Waiting for Part II is going to suck, but apparently it's scheduled for next year, so I guess it could be a lot worse.

I don't know why it's so typical for live recordings to have crappy production these days, but for a DVD this sounded awful and the declipped version of this is miraculous. Then again Muse generally have terrible clipping on all their records. The latest doesn't look as badly clipped as most of them, but I still haven't listened to it yet.
