Personally, It's not the scar on his CHEEK I think we need to be concerned about, but rather his second abdominal piercing at Sephy's hands.

Indeed. I still want to know if Tifa has a scar from Sefiros. After how they made a point about how badly damaged she was, and how magic did her no good, it would make a lot of sense for her to have a pretty scar.

Abdominal piercings are nothing. Seph was walking around practically sliced in half at the waist.

Maybe Aerith will heal Cloud up when he drops in on her and Zack.

Actually, it would make more sense for it to have been massive blunt trauma internal damage leading to a coma, especially since even in the CC version she didn't have a pool of blood under her like Zack and Cloud did when they got a-slashed.
Masamune is a one edge sword, after all, and Sephypoo was swinging it edge back in that steamroller of a confrontation.

Someone at another forum is arguing that Cloud and Aerith's relationship didn't begin until after AC.

And that AC was actually about Cloud's struggle to decide which woman he really wanted, because he saw that Aerith had again become an option, with those ghostly appearances of her's.

I don't think Tifa has a scar. It'd be cool if Cloud had a fugly scar or two, though.

I think that's the biggest factor that makes AerithXCloud impossible. But I'm still not so sure he's "with" Tifa as a boyfriend. He could be, but I'm just not convinced without any type of affection between the two besides smiling at each other.

But that's just me and I'm kinda a nut when I come to these things.

In Nibelheim? I thought those were shadows. I haven't played CC for a while, but I remember the shadows looking kind of stylised with a hint of colour in them.

The way it looks, he was actually cutting her. There was a cutting sound too, after all.

I thought the Stairs were streaked with Zack's blood but I could be wrong.

And which version are you referring to Tets? The FF7 version sounds like hitting a hollow pole and then metal striking metal, and the LO version sounds like metal hitting chain, but neither sounds like the sound of people being cut used elsewhere.

In FF7 his sword makes the same sound it always does when hitting someone. Also, I'm rather sure you could somewhat make out that he struck her with the blade.

He hit her, but the edge of the sword was facing him and he just brought the sword back down and so would have hit her with the back end. Massive Blunt trauma, natch. She got thrown, which you wouldn't expect from being cut.

She asks 'When I was cut, was it bad', but she was missing memories of the incident as well, so I don't know how well we can trust it, especially when the weight of the visual evidence suggests otherwise.

I don't recall that. I don't recall the little polygon model swapping in FF7, and in LO we go from Sephy's hands gripping over Tifa's to a black screen with a white streak (and that chack noise) and we return to her flying down the stairs already. And no blood or visible wounds, and in LO definitely wasn't shy about blood and wounds, though given CC is the most authoritative version of the event now, I'm not sure how much weight to place on LO's version.

Well, it wasn't really teleporting. He was probably just super-fast. Still, would be nice to see that trick in ACC.

I've been under a rock, or shall I say too bussy with my career to only now
know about this new AC. Anyway I'm really looking forward to a deeper storyline this
time, something like FFVII or FFX, and maybe and extra hour or more of playtime to the movie

Particularly, I would like to see him doing something new. Something he never did in high-quality CGI before, and that shows he is stronger than when he was only a "human".
An epic magic spell for example, would be great. Maybe Heartless Angel, or even Super Nova.
