I haven't trusted titles since Mighty Ducks featured no mighty ducks.

But in this case, it is about toads who battle :monster:

I think I have seen this game advertised, at the very least. Cool beans! :) Thank you.

And yes, titles suck when they do not feature any person, place, creature, and/or thing mentioned in the title.

Such with the (great!) young adult book Sign of the Beaver. No beavers. Signs were minimum. Sign of the beaver mentioned once, in passing, almost just a detail.

I'm totally going to write a book about some subject, maybe Battletoads, and name it 'title not related'.

Eternal Sonata was released for the PS3 over here on Friday, so I went and bought a copy of it the day after. lol, I know; I could have just gone out and bought the 360 Version of it between Christmas and now, but oh well. I'm a sucker for shiny things, and the PS3 one comes with a cover like MGS4 came in, only shiny.

Anyway, I've not gotten too far into the game, but I'm finding it pretty fun.

Oh, and I'm trying to complete Fable II, as well. Right now, I'm just doing random Quests on it.

MGS 3, epic and awesome. They should make a movie out of it, although some scenes are far more dramatic (i.e. far too much after-effects and excess stuff) to be ported one to one to the silver screen.

I might finally go an watch all of that 'MGS3 The Movie' disk that came with whatever MGS3's rerelease was called again :monster:

Yeah, that one :monster:. Speaking of, if I hadn't already paid the full price for the original, I'd get that one.

i was in wal mart getting some soda and browsing the game isle when i noticed GTA4 was 40 bucks and i decided to just get it.
Been playing it all week and just love it, i kind of hate the car handeling at first but got used to it.

The cell phone can go to hell though.

Yeah, the car handling's a tad shit, as in, I can hardly manage going through corners without skidding out of control.

I'm playing FFIV on the DS atm. I'm at that part where I just made Cecil into a Paladin and have to fucking level him up AGAIN. Don't get be wrong, I love power levelling, but from level 0 when I had him up to 23 in Dark Knight mode, it pisses me off.

I should've remembered it from the PS1 version. >:
Still love it though. Apologies for swearing. :monster:

I'm playing Sins of a Solar Empire on my laptop (back home) right now, it's an awesome game in many aspects. Although it's kinda slow, it's great and just.

You could play a single game for weeks depending on what you're playing. You could do a five-star system (with like 10-20 planets each) and eight opponents. The problem is that the game slows down due to the massive amount of calculations it has to do all the time.

It's probably a game you'll have to learn to like though, I can imagine loads of people not liking it.

Speaking of, both SoaSE and World of Goo are two of the best games of '08, and neither of them was launched as an AAA or full-price title.

Epic game. Its kinda tough actually, but yeah, it's Risk on steroids in space with really good graphics. And that's a pretty just combination.

PSP: I'm addicted to DJMax. Any variation of it that came on the PSP, I have. Guita Hero who? DJMax is where it's at.

I just finished the Star Ocean 2 remake. That makes it the 3678289372389387982nd time I've beaten SO2. <__<

DS: I rented Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and it's so shameful that it still can't match it's GBA counterparts. Disappointingly mediocre.

360: MOTHERFUCKING STAR OCEAN 4. Yep yep. I've been waiting for this for eternity! I JUST started it and graphically they messed up by not having vivid facial animations like in SO3. WTF is up with that? The facial models look like launch ps2 models. I mean they look NICE, but they look like dolls, not people. Oh well. This game rocks in all other aspects.

PS3: Killzone 2...yeah, right. Game plays like shit, son. Sorry, but the input lag is downright terrible. Buyer beware. The control ruined the game for me.

I actually just got Killzone 2 and the Star Ocean Second Evolution strategy guide.

This means, after classes are out for summer Im going to have to finish Valkyria Chronicles, the remake/port of Chrono Trigger on the DS, Star Ocean Second Evolution (been looking forward to it, loved it on the PS, LittleBigPlanet, and Killzone 2, as well as any other games I pick up by then. It's going to be a busy summer.

From the strategy guide, I like the character art and design of the original SO2 better than SO2ndEvo. They fit the ages more and are more detailed.

I know there are some people who wont like Killzone 2 for the controls. They arent like Resistance or other shooters, it's supposed to feel more realistic and heavy. The original Killzone was like it too.

I really want SO4, but never played SO3 either so I need to get both. Im going to wait for a SO4 port to the PS3 though. It's not going to sell that good on the 360, especially when it's releasing when Killzone 2 is released as well as some other big games like RE5.

The game plays fine. People are just bawwing because it doesn't play like every other FPS. Input lag? Whatever lag there is, is complete negligible when I'm playing. I've played the game, and I'm playing it as well as I do any other shooter. The only difference is that the characters don't slide across the ground and move as fast as other games.

Honestly, I don't see it at all. Maybe you can't play the game for shit son. I adjusted the controls a bit, and got used to the slow deliberate pacing, and it's been smooth sailing. I only ever had problems, when I was trying to run and gun.

FPSes on PC > console, always. You have a shitload more control and you can do a lot more at the same time on PC, ergo, >.

Also, Killzone 2 is Dutch, you sure you want to play that? It's also the most expensive entertainment product ever to have been produced over here, :monster:. There was a release party in Amsterdam last Thursday, I was in the neighbourhood but didn't know it was thar.

Yeah, yeah, yea. I've heard the same crap from a bunch of PC gamers, and I admittedly game on my pc quite a bit regardless of the shittiness of the system.

But all that is irrelevant, since I'm more comfortable, competent, and all around content with FPS gaming on consoles. There's also the fact that some of those games never get released on pc, so I get them on consoles.

That said, how the pc version of Re5 will turn out intrigues me. I wonder if it'll be any good. Hopefully someone will mod the game to not have shit controls.

Fixxed for extra added truth, :'(.

re-fixxed for sooth, :monster:.

Also, agr'd. Although, if I have to be honest, CoD 2 is still my favorite (and afaik it was PC only, but I could be wrong), and I still haven't finished FC2 because it's repetitive and tedious.

Yeah FC2's gameplay structure gets real old when nothing important is happening. The fact that there's no checkpoint system past saving at safehouses is frustrating too.

Still pretty good game, and looks great in HD. I still haven't gotten Crysis Warhead though :monster:
