In the past few days:

-Lovely Benefit lady showed me some new stuff. POREfessional and Bella Bamba are my new loves. Seriously. Worth the price tag.

-Saw Tangled.

-Had dinner out twice and had it bought for me both times. Even though I did try to sneak money on him the second time he wouldn't have it.

-Had Sex.

Yeah, pretty good week. This has made my past few days.

Not that the rest of the store was all that much better, but any day in which I don't have to deal with that crap is a significantly better day than any day in which I do.

I think my favorite thing pro-wrestling did all last year was to have Mileena in Jessica Drew's Spider-woman outfit, especially since she is flexible enough to do the poses perfectly. And a fangirl, who made damn sure they got the outfit as close to perfect as possible.

Also good news on the new car. I'd have made a post just like that when I got mine, had I been on the forum at the time.

It's a few days old now but it really did make my day hearing that Egyptian Christians in Cairo created a human shield around Muslims while they prayed. This was done to protect them from the police deployed to quell the riots taking place there.

Anybody that knows me realises that I am not one for organized religion and have mixed views on it. Events like this spark that little opportunity that lets me believe they don't always have to be as stupid as they publiscize, and that not only can the different religions live in peace together, but that have no fear in helping them during times of personal struggle.

- Dusted off my guitar, figured I'd make another half arse attempt at learning it. Since I've bought it (7 odd years ago), the amount of time I've put into learning how to play it over the years would probably be about 25 hours =p. Chances of succeeding in this instance are therefore probably nil. I want to learn how to play my favourite guitar solos though, and listening to Pink Floyd has inspired me to try again.

The sum of my knowledge is that the outer strings are E, and I vaguely know what notes on some frets are. I went to what I suspect to be a rip-off tutor a few years back, who spent 3 hours telling me how to hold a plectrum (it was a science!) and strum properly. Forgot both. He also quickly went over patterns, which I wish I memorised. Anyways, yeah.
