some stores double all coupons under 99 cents, like my store

there are ten .55 coupons so even if you bought it for $5 you are still saving $5 on dr. pepper

it's dumb/going around your elbow to get to your ass but technically you're still saving money if you plan on buying 10 things of dr pepper (it would be good for like a party or something)

My cousin's boyfriend was stationed in Japan, he just returned last year. He was a marine tho. If you get stationed there, will you be allowed to leave the ship? Or do you stay on the ship for the entirety of your tour?

Nah, I'll be able to leave. It'll be just like living there and stuff. When you're 'stationed' somewhere in the Navy, your homeport is where you live (as in an apartment), but your working hours on on the ship, but you're not physically stuck on the ship.

Is the base also in Okinawa? If it is, I don't think you have to worry about any radiation, you're well to the south of the reactors.

Sounds like one of those experiences you shouldn't pass up (not sure if this is a decision you have or if you have to go). Either way though, going while you're working is great because you can soak up more of the culture that you can't really get on a week vacation. My brother was there for 2-3 years and said it was one of the best experiences of his life and he's so glad he got to live somewhere else that's so different from north america.
