That was quite different. I may watch it. I was shocked to see REAL villains instead of just rip offs. Cool stuff.

Shame they're still going for the pudgy featureless babyfaec style,

Saw the trailer for this earlier. Not sure if I'll see it in theatre, but it certainly grabbed my attention and I think it can be REALLY good if done right.

I bet all those characters are only making cameos, and don't actually play a major role in the film, used for comic relief, just as they are in this here trailer. Twas interesting to see bits of them, but I prefer more interaction. This trailer don't do much for me, tbh.

Pixar and Disney are the same company; Disney just kept the name because it was known. Obviously, there's overlap between the companies in knowledge, talent, technology, and featureless babbyfaces.

Yes, Pixar is its own studio it does all its own animation, they do not do any of the animation or story contribution to the CGI Disney films. Pixar is just a subsidiary of Walt Disney Pictures, being a subsidiary does not make it the same company. Wreck-It Ralph is being done by Walt Disney Animation Studios.
But this trailer gives me hope that this will be one of the better CGI Disney films.

Have any of you seen the main film trailer in 3D?
...because it is AMAZING looking.
I generally enjoy 3D, but there's one thing at the very start of the film that completely sold me on seeing it in 3D. When it's entering the arcade, and the shot pans up to the Wreck-It Ralph game, you can tell that the game screen is slightly angled behind the main glass screen like in old school arcades.
You don't get the same sense of depth at all when seeing the trailer in 2D, and it totally made my jaw drop, and I felt all nostalgic for arcades when I watched it.
I am really quite excited for this.
