I was in denial till the very end, I still am every time I play the game. I just think: "This time, he's not gonna die".

There's a certain tragedy that effects the story because of Zack's death and even though I love him, I wouldn't want something stupid like a revival to happen for the world. Because his tragic death is tragic and heart-wrenching, but I wouldn't have it any other way. In death he still serves as an inspiration to Cloud's, well, almost entire being.

YES. I'm astounded by the effect it has on me. I cry each and everytime. Nevertheless, the fact that he died for what he believed in made me love his character more.
