I have to agree Zack can be seen as typical hero. But what I liked about him, that despite tragedies he remained optimistic. I think this and his good heart made me go all "awww <3" World needs heroes sometimes XD

I agree with Colomba, one of the things that I really love about his character is that after all the tragedies and everything Zack never changed, he remained that optimistic, funny, charming, easy going, nice guy

Hmm, let's see...

I think he was 14 when he first joined SOLDIER. Then he was 17(or 16) when he became a 1st Class...well, as far as I know, he's probably 20-22 years old.
