Zee, it's awkward because she was translating literally, since she didn't play the game, she didn't understand much. So to avoid any debate, she translated it that way.

Actually even more interesting, is that when she strong armed Cloud in that promise, it was indeed childish - she wanted to feel like a princess? And because he agreed, he became special to her, definitely like a knight.

Even though she grew up since then, to her, isn't he still her hero? It was noted somewhere else, right, that he was her hero or something (quote is out of my mind). I think, the quote that he became a special existence to her shows that the bond created from just this promise was indeed strong.

That argument is absolutely fucktarded on two levels.
1. It says nothing about Cloud not wanting to. Other quotes paint his choco ass as eager for it, yes, even though he's strongarmed into it. Cloud's issues isn't 'Don't wanna' it's always 'I can't I just know I can't oh fuck.' It's what keeps his ass out of SOLDIER.
2. She might have only wanted Cloud to be her hero, even though she knew jack about his ass. We are dealing with a 13 year old here.
3. Using the same quote, we can play fucktarded games about Tifa getting to know Cloud damn well with the 'large portion' section.
