If they’re going to do an affection mechanic, what I’m theorizing is that they’re either going to have Cloud only kiss Tifa (Low Affection/Standard) or have Cloud kiss + suggestive fade to black with Tifa (High Affection). Either option will leave no room for debate.

Yea, as of Rebirth, I think that is a pretty solid relationship chart and I hope that is the one the devs were going for. Despite the fact that most of the Cloud and Aerith scenes in Chapter 13 and 14 are “non-optional”, none of them are as explicit and reciprocal as Cloud and Tifa’s GS date.
