I agree that the opening to FFVIII was incredible. But I also really, really loved the opening to the first Kingdom Hearts. The song, the video sequences...it was perfect for what the game was.

We play zombie/alien games together most: Gears of War, COD4, Halo, ResEvil5. Usually we get bored and try killing eachother. The best is in Halo, one of us will kill the other in the exact spot (they fall the same) for a good 15 minutes and then throw a grenade at the bodies and watch them flyyyyy.

I try to lessen my irritation by reminding myself that I don't have to go home with them. I hate when you tell someone you have to go, and they lock you into another 20 minute conversation...

I think for kids, they're trying to appeal to simplistic drawings, because they realized the raging success that was Pokemon...maybe. Which cartoons are you talking about in specifics? Fairly odd parents is kind of simple. Are they making any legit cartoons anymore? I mean, we grew up with TMNT...
