Watch it again.
Korea's plenty creative in her bending e.g.: http://equalistmako.tumblr.com/post/102038733395/yeah-korras-bending-is-so-boring-soEven when she's winning, I find that Aang's bending abilities put Korra's to shame. She isn't the least bit creative. All she ever does is fling a blast of [insert element] at her opponent. Aang (and Toph) won battles with cleverness. Using earthbending to move the ground underneath someone's feet to upset their stance. Airbending to dodge rather than attack. Waterbending for rapid movement rather than attack.
I get that probending trained her to just turn bending into long-range punches, but it's not very interesting and I hope that this will teach her to get better at it. It's remarkable after all this time she hasn't really gotten any better. I understand she's rusty, but that's how she fought before too.
They aren't that untouchable, if they were he wouldn't struggle against the meter-suits that much, lavabending is destructive but it's also really slow and often easy to dodge.Bolin's powers are untouchable at this point.[/spoiler]

She just isn't fighting against low level mooks as often as Aang did, so it creates the illusion that he "wins" more.

They are examples of Korra being plenty creative with her bending, sure Korra may not be as artistic/fancy as Aang in her bending, but she is just as creative and skilled in using her bending. Just because it appears she "loses" more than (largely due to not fighting as many mook opponent as Aang did) doesn't make her not as good with her bending.I fail to see how the post you linked to or what you said disproves Force's point tbh. It's simply a difference in style. Korra is more about using the power in ways that are practiced, precise hits. Korra's style is military, Aang's was artistic. They very deliberately made them different.
Whichever one you prefer is subjective, but I don't think Force is incorrect at all.
Sure, I agree how entertaining it is to watch does mostly come done personal preference. I am more concerned with what I feel are unfair judgements of characters capabilities/skills.But as I said, I'm not talking about her win/loss record. I'm just referring to how entertaining it is to watch.
Just finished the first season of Korra. I liked it at the beginning and then started to really love it towards the end, since I feel like the themes are more grownup than its predecessor series. Will give it a few days rest, let it sink in and then watch the second season.
