I didn't really find the Days and Green videos special to be that honest. As a video I liked Days better, but Green's fell apart when the dance scene came up. It was badly directed! The only redeeming things were the shots of Shanghai, and Ayumi looked a hot mess.
^ Ah, Gackt. "Vanilla" sure is a timeless song. I remember loving Gackt back when I didn't really listen to any j-pop besides Gackt and Ayumi!
I think that if you only listen to Gackt and Ayumi then you should definitely branch out a little more~ no offense, it's just that I was that way too and I don't regret branching out!

Usually Im not that much of a fan of 12012, but I liked this song. It's not my favorite song, but it's solid, especially for them.

haichi, yah, 12012 is ok. They used to be alot more of a generic dark heavy band at first, but then they changed their style a bit and I think it was a good change for them.
And yes, Obscure from Dir en Grey. I actually like the song alot. Im not really a fan of any of Diru's videos though.

Another band that has gotten better with time. Someone from the band Mucc helped produce their newest cd MUSIC. Every release of theirs has gotten better too. They used to just be heavy but they have varied their stuff a little more recently.

omg, did you hear about Kusanagi (right?) of SMAP getting arrested for getting drunk and naked in a park? It totally made national news too. O_o The punishments to celebrities are so harsh over there, seriously, getting called "worst kind of scum" just for getting naked and drunk? It's not like he killed somebody. This also reminds me of Koda Kumi's "rotten amniotic fluid" comment.
I was actually ranting to my Video Comm teacher (lol he's lived in Japan before) about how terrible SMAP are because whenever I see them singing a medley with certain artists (Mariah Carey, Namie Amuro, Tohoshinki) they're so horrible! x_x
Personally the JE band that I listen to the most would be TOKIO. They're like pop-rock. I have some V6 songs too, but the main reason I was curious is because Ken Miyake's a cutie. I've been warming up to KAT-TUN as well... I guess they aren't half-bad.
