I loved Esposito throughout the episode,

And Castle's behavior and opinions of Christmas is basically the same that I have.

the divorce couple breaking each others stuff and then getting arrested for it and Beckett and Meredith trolling the shit out of Castle.

I'm just super excite that it looks like we're finally gonna get some Castle backstory.

Also Nathan Fillion won best dramatic actor and Castle won best crime show at the PCAs :>

Spoiler: Thoughts on last night's episode

The idea of the murder victim being Beau Randolf, a suspect in the season 4 ep Head Case was very interesting to me. I feel bad for the guy, he was cleaning up his act because he was going to be a father only to be killed and will never get the chance to meet his daughter. Also Esposito was hilarious in the episode, from trying to argue shoes>bras and the whole crush on the bodyguard.

edit: Dammit forgot to mention the next episode, man no new Castle for 2 weeks sucks but the next episode is gonna be good.

Kat is currently visiting shipping heaven, that happens quite a lot when she watches Castle.

I loved last night's episode, after last week's serious episode this one very silly and funny one was very welcome, also Zoe dammit.

Castle/Gates banter throughout the episode was my favorite, almost died laughing with the whole present dilemma. Although I don't think there was a single Firefly reference I still loved seeing Gina Torres. Esplaine is back yay and damn Lanie looked great in that red dress. As Kat previously expressed that ending scene was lovely.

Alexis getting kidnapped. Looks like an episode taken out of well Taken. Imagine Castle saying "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you." That would be awesome.

That episode was amazing! This is a large part of why I love "February sweeps" in American TV shows. Every year Castle does an epic and very dramatic double episode. I knew something had to happen with Alexis eventually, but I have to admit it was a shocker when it turned they were in France at the end! Holy crap!

So I was watching Castle on Tuesday on TNT and I hadn't seen the season 4 finale since I watched Battlestar Galactica and imagine my surprise when the guy that shot Beckett appears and it turns out to be Helo. Dammit Helo you're one of my favorite characters from BG, why are you trying to kill Beckett? I still love him though.

Well now we know were Castle got his snarky personality. I was such a sweet and touching moment when Castle's dad told him the story about the book and when he told Castle he couldn't stay, Castle's face, all the feels, I just wanted to give him a hug.

Finally a new episode of Castle, a more lighter and funnier one just how I like them.

I haven't seen it yet. I love the lighter episodes, but I think I prefer it when something big is happening. Probably because they don't do that all the time on Castle. The last two episodes were pure gold to me.

But after the shit he went through in the last 2 episodes, Castle was in serious need of something more relaxing that could bring him back to his funny, laid back, trolling ways.
