Since Dessies isn't exactly taking on new applicants right now. You'd have to very explicit about that fact.

I don't see a huge problem with it if they read and check up on it like they would a regular fan fic or something. Might even encourage some of them to register and bring some activity to the board as a whole.

I agree. In the event that I might start there, I have to say that we're not accepting applicants, but still I'd like to showcase its story to the peeps to get them interested when we can have room for people.


The problem is, Which should we start with? Awakening or Aftermath? And if we can start bringing people who loves the story in general.

Btw guys I've been musing about how to expand the fanbase for Dessies. I'd like other people to see how far we've gone and all y'know? Crack recommended we try going on lj since alot of RPers visit and have a strong fanbase there apparently. I'd just like Dessies to get more and more love, like it should get.

Well, there could be a community created for Destrillians, and it wouldn't hurt advertising it to other communities over at lj. Not that people would join, but follow the story. As far as which arc would come first, I think linking people to Awakening and the following posts of Aftermath (by an lj-cut) would be better, and than maybe the future posts could be actually posted on lj as well? And enabling comments over at lj (members only) would be cool too, so people could comment on the posts.

Honestly, I like the idea of showing off Dessies to people.

What I don't like, is the idea of MORE people joining. I only wish there was enough room to accommodate anybody else, but as it is, we're absolutely overflowing and I don't think that's going to change any time in the near future - if even in the far future.

I know nothing but third parties' bad opinions about LJ, so I can't say anything on that, and dA is great but the only thing is that it takes a LOT for a following to grow.

In short, if there's a way to spread Dessies effectively to a lot of people without giving all the WEEABOOS the idea that "LOLOMG THERE'S A NEW RP I CAN JOIN INTO!!!!!! @w@" then I'm all for it.

I also think that, like all other side things in Dessies, we should be taking the actual RP first priority and the other things - like the publicity of said RP - second. Mumble, is that megapost friggin' done yet. =|

My part is done already, Idris Xia. It's noen's turn to review, edit and fix shit for the first act. for the second act, it's almost done also. so it'll be posted more or less two days or three after the first act.
