A fact I'mwell aware of. But the way you phrased the last part of your post made it sound like you were saying Zack was less important due to having fewer scenes.
But we've moved past that conversation now and I'd like to discuss the game this thread is about.

Lol at people arguing over Zack's importance vs Tifa's. This might be immature, but Tifa came first bitches. B)
I love Zack. I always have since FFVII, but even Zack himself knows that only Tifa can help Cloud's shattered mind. Zack did save Cloud's life, yes, but Tifa is the one that he loves. It's her that encouraged him to to fight. It's the promise that he and her made his last night in Nibelheim that kept him getting stronger and stronger. Without Tifa, Cloud would literally be nothing. In a way, Tifa did save Cloud's life. She gave him a reason. Gave him hope. And never gave up on him. She's also the only person that understands him the most. It makes sense why they would choose to put her in Dissidia, and not Zack or Aerith. Tbh, even though I don't much care for Vincent it'd make sense for him to be there too. If Vincent hadn't given him that mental bitch slap in AC he might still be conflicted.

I'm pretty sure that he saw in Cloud, what Cloud didn't see in himself. He inspired confidence in Cloud when he was lacking it. It's not the same as "talking out of his ass." He really believed in the best in everyone, and bringing that out in people was key to his character. Essei and Sebastian in Before Crisis are really good proof of that.
But seriously people:
Tifa is in Dissidia 2.
Zack is not (yet).
Please move on to more important things.

Just though the "when he saw that strength at Nibelheim" bit wierd since he's been lifting his spirits for a good two years by then.

Forgive me if I end up stating the obvious here, but I do think it's possible that Tifa may not remember as much as Cloud and Sephiroth do (being he and Cloud did not remember each other initially in original Dissidia, but gained memories later [correct me if I'm wrong]).
Also, from WoL's last words there, I'm beginning to wonder if some of the respective Heroes and Villains may possibly change sides through the course of the story... It was more or less hinted at by Jecht's odd conundrum with Cosmos and Chaos in original Dissidia. Just pondering here really.
Lastly, Lightning seems a bit.. err, lost? . She sees that Manikins are enemies, but other than that, she comes off slightly confused, imo.
I really do hope we get more trailers eventually, this is driving me nuts ><

Aye, apparently there was a longer more in-depth private trailer, and a public trailer. This is the latter, which is why the quality is so much better.
And no you aren't. He actually looks like a cross between Kuja and Cecil. At first I thought "female WoL? Cool!"
