DMC has next to no story at all guys. It doesn't matter at all tbh. That's why this romance shit is bullshit, it's not in the games. Trish is completely absent in DMC2, no mention of her in the plot at all. She's playable but that's it.

Never did I say friends don't flirt, more bullshit.

Yeah, it's wrong because she looks just like his mom. Something is wrong with a guy who wants to screw a girl that looks just like his mom. But I'm saying it's not there because it isn't there. You can say it might be implied in the first game if you want, but it's complete absent in all forms in the other games. Trish just hangs out, they don't flirt, and she's not even always around.

And plenty of people call their mom babe, if their mom is a babe, that doesn't mean anything.

Luckily DMC doesn't have some huge love story to imply such. Trish and Dante are partners in hunting from time to time. Making that dirty is just fucking creepy as hell. And Dante is clearly refering to when there's violence going on in his shop. You quotes mean nothin.
