It really does.

Listening to this has made me want to play all the Origins DLC, finish Awakening and play DAII before this game is released. Oh and obviously purchase this game.

Because as it stands I just kind of completed Origins and then stopped playing. I wonder how hard it's going to be to get back into the series?

Maybe I'll stream it. OK yeah definitely have to go back and finish it all.

I'd choose female elf in honor of my first playthru of Origins.

The Inquisitor has two different voices for each gender, with the choice between either a British or an American accent.[17] Alix Wilton Regan, provider of the Inquisitor's British female accent, believed there should be a sense of "strength, authority" to the Inquisitor, and so used a more "chesty" voice instead of more high and in the throat. Regan has said she is proud to be voicing a female protagonist for BioWare, focusing on the importance of inclusion.[18]

British or American accents is a nice touch.

Still on the fence about this game. I'm tired of being disappointed by Bioware. I'll try to wait and get it second hand methinks.

That's an interesting addition. I'm not sure if I'd go for the British accent, I'm tired of the everyone is English in olden times trope.

Then again I suppose it's less of a trope and more factually accurate since the American accent has only existed for like 5 minutes compared to the English one :/

As for Inquisition... tl;dr herpaderp blah blahhh I'm not really excited for anything. Yet. Maybe Dorian. As long as I can Ice people I'll be happy.

Also I just realized had it not been for the most recent delay, Inquisition would've come out today.

It exhausted me, to be honest. It's a very think all the thoughts game. I have a few rants on my tumblr blog about it, but I'll give you the tl;dr:

* Merrill is win
* Isabela is even winner (and my f!Hawke took her to her bed and they're the purdiest couple evar)
* I love Varric (as you can see)
* Gameplay was wtf and I like Origins more in that aspect
* Origins is feelgood and comfort and save the world whereas DA2 is hard grown-up wtf
* ... (no seriously, tl;dr there is too much to talk about with this game and I still haven't digested it)

BUT

* Aveline is the most important female character in gaming history. Aveline is important. Aveline is awesome. I need more Aveline. ALL THE AVELINE
