So I just finished watching the gameplay video.
It was pretty cool, but I only started getting really excited when they were walking around and I realised they weren't on a set path. I mean I knew it was going to be open world but when they zoomed out on that map I was like whoa.
And for what it's worth if anyone wants to watch it, it's incredibly light on spoilers of any kind. It's more about the function of PC controls than anything else tbh. For example, I still don't have a clue what's going on in the story and I paid rapt attention for the full hour.

It's alright if you're watching a live stream (normally) but I was having trouble watching fangu's stream the other day and I had trouble with these two videos. And I don't think it has anything to do with connection - I have been having internet problems but I have a fibre connection that's 100/20 and when I ran a speedtest yesterday everything was fine, but for some reason the videos wouldn't stop buffering.
Think it might have something to do with where the servers are, or it's to do with server location.

OK so I did a bit of digging on their twitter account
The announcements have gone like this:
"If you signed the NDA yesterday (Oct 15) until this very moment, you now have full access to the Keep!"
So they're letting people in in waves each day, and the Tweet times are at between 7-8pm my time. So if they're letting people in it'll probably be just under 24 hours from now.
Should probably finish Dragon Age 2 quickly

lol syncing is down anyway so if you don't have a character profile uploaded to the BSN you're kinda SOL for save "importing" anyway 
It sucks because I just finished Awakening this morning, but I guess it gives me time to redo II now

Hope you guys like the Keep once you get into it. It's a very clean and smooth app and I was surprised how quickly everything loaded, especially considering the Interactive Story Summary which includes complete narration by Varric (Brian Bloom) and animation galore

So is the BSN a kind of profile go-between for the Keep? Because that's the way you're making it sound when you're talking about the save importing 
I'm not altogether bothered if I'm honest about the syncing being down, it'll probably be quite interesting to go back through everything on the Keep incase my memory is hazy.
Also I'm not 100% my imports are going to work because it's technically not the same playthrough due to my import issues re:region.
As far as I'm aware region obviously shouldn't affect importing with the Keep so if I import my DA: O save then DA2 save it might be like "OK so Nathaniel was alive at the end of Origins but then DEAD DURING DA2 WHAT *head explosion*"

The BioWare Social Network is the (old) site where you can register all your stuff, from games to DLC etc (just so if you didn't know ).
Previously I believe the Keep used the data from the BSN, which is basically a character profile that your games should automatically upload to the servers if you're logged in while you're playing. I don't think it should matter by region, as long as you're logged in via EA while creating/playing a character.
So it circumvents direct save importing by analyzing character profiles uploaded to the site. That said, I have no idea if these profiles actually include plot flags. Outward appearances only show the character's appearance and equipped inventory, so all I can say for sure is that BioWare have said that the appearance of your previous player characters will be approximated for their appearance in Inquisition (and that you can choose the personalities in the Keep).

Which suits me fine, since he's fugly biscuits. But I do love Gareth, and I loved him in Torchwood. Also kudos to them for continuing the whole Welsh thing (even though only one of them was Welsh and the rest were Irish in DAII, it was a bit bizarre tbh) - maybe only important elves have a Welsh accent? XD
