Sony's conference was alright, I mean they announced Crash Bandicoot for PS4 but they didn't show anything. Kojima's introduction was badass but that trailer was fucking weird. That CoD trailer was surprisingly good and Resident Evil's trailer was great. That The Last of Us/Sons of Anarchy game was forgettable, I already forgot the name.

XV was fucking awful like three people clapped after they finished.

Have you seen a Kojima trailer before? They're not ALL weird, but a lot of them are super melodramatic and crazy.

After seeing the other press conferences today, Sony's was on another level. They spent maybe 5 minutes total talking. The trailers never stopped. And almost every game looked really really good.

I think they are saving FFXV for Square Enix's show in 30 minutes.

It was weird by Kojima weird trailers standards.

The idea behind the conference was great, the live music was fantastic but some of those trailers weren't very good. Days Gone that's what it's called (I forgot the name while typing this), they showed a trailer that was forgettable and then a half hour later they showed gameplay as if they had forgotten it and suddenly remembered at the end of the show.

I'm in the middle on this one. Sony definitely had the best conference of all of them and the live music and lack of pointless talking was fantastic. But going by their other conferences in recent years (in terms of what they tend to show) it was excellent, but not outstanding. I know that's kind of splitting hairs but I hold them to a really high standard XD. Definitely the best conference by a long shot though.

We've all forgotten to talk about that Kara game (the quantic dream one about androids), and it's kinda pissed all of us off that they've subbed her out for a male protagonist. Either that or it has multiple characters, but yeah that kinda sucked.

I think they didn't want to break up the breakneck flow of conference and so saved it at the end.

And how I loved the Chocobo Theme cover in the XV trailer

As for the quantic dream game, didn't he say "These are our stories?" That kinda suggests multiple characters to me. Hasn't every Quantic Dreams game since Heavy Rain had multiple characters?

I definitely thought that was hilarious XD. An afrojack chocobo theme. As one of the very few TLS'rs who appreciates eurodance that was a super trippy moment for me.

Feel free to continue using the server and stuff I've always preferred voice servers over voip just because you can really get the ball rolling by joining one of the channels and if the community is active it shouldn't take long for someone to hop in and chat it up. As opposed to like Skype or something where someones gotta start the call or ask to join etc. It just makes things simpler and more open

So yeah we should hang out more often

I mean that was the best conference I saw through all of E3. Crash Bandicoot will be incredible, excited for the new God of War and HOLY SHIT KOJIMA MAKING A GAME FOR PLAYSTATION with that dude from The Walking Dead.

I love how it was pretty much just a showcase of all the games coming out, no real talking about anything.

VR looks good, looking forward to playing FFXV in VR.

No doubt about it. While it's true that they had fewer games that appeal directly to my sweet spot than in prior years (but most still looked pretty damn good), as a press conference, it was in a class all it's own. Every press conference should be exactly like that.

And the opening was really cool, with that blonde woman doing that weird beatboxing.

I was excited about a majority of the games, even the new Call of Duty but I think that is just the Sci-Fi nerd in me. Love space exploration and space ships. I wasn't too bothered about the new game from Hideo Kojima and I don't really care to the games from Quantic Dream so that Detroit game didn't really interest me either.

Other than those two games however everything else seemed decent.

Same here. One thing I greatly appreciated about this conference: it was only about showing games. No long and boring self-praising speech, no presentation of sales figures or stuff like that.
On a personal level, the game I felt the most interested in was Horizon: Zero Dawn. Very curious about FF XV VR though, wonder if it's "more than a gimmick".
