So I streamed Diabolos and Gilgamesh today - got Gilgamesh done with 2 characters @ a level where he can't hit you with Disable, around 70 something. Alarm Clocks <3 Couldn't have done it without Alarm Clocks and Chrono's Tears, and a good batch of luck.

Also I had fun making Limericks on the fly :lol: One went something like this:

There was a Viera named Fran
Who left her original clan
Away there she flew
To meet a new crew
Which includes this wonderful man

Then later when Lex showed up we did one that looked something like this:

I know of a swordsman named Basch
Who's feature's a lovely collage
When he swings his sword
Then no one is bored
Now behold his sexy visage

The first word that rhymes with Basch I had was "fromage" :lol:

Oh, there was one more about Fran:

I know of this woman called Fran
She likes to go out and hunt flan
There is one thing though
One thing you should know
Do not ask about her life span

I didn't stream this, but I recorded it - redid the first Demon Wall, this time at level 19. Next run I'm attempting it at 15.



(No I will never grow tired of this game)

Soooooooo I finally had my boyfriend set up my desktop for XII, and yesterday I installed Open Broadcaster to start streaming some tests. And AAAAAAAAAAAAA best stream evar; it's glorious at 1280x720. (I had it working at 1920x1080 but because of how Twitch processes data, it might appear too choppy for a lot of viewers.) Anyway it's insane how detailed this game is when emulated, and looking at it I just KNOW there will be a HD remaster because the detail they put into this game is ridiculous and it'll be a complete waste not to do a HD release.

What I'm doing right now is just running around Looking At Things and getting used to PCSX2. It's weird having an entire party again XD

Also, I srsly want to continue after dinner. If it wasn't for dinner being steaks, I would have considered microwave pizzas instead :wacky: Thanks for staying :joy:

I usually do, but sometimes I don't start commenting until someone requests it because... idk. I feel like an idiot talking when nobody's listening X)

Also I've been fiddling with Open Broadcaster Software. If you're willing to help me test audio levels, I'll talk :monster:

I have some resources for you for when you start, namely a set of area maps which shows item locations - handy since they moved everything in the game :oscar:

So yesterday I played XII from the start of the game up until the top of Pharos (right before the Gab/Cid/Famfrit battle). That's the longest I've ever played the entire game in one go, and it even included a good deal of retries and practice (particularly Shemhazai, Ahriman and Fenrir). The stream itself was over 15 hours; the save file stopped at 10 hours 38 minutes something. And it earned me 11 new followers. Extreme good times. But man does it take time working on this run!! I need to practice the three mentioned battles + Feywood, because I'm fiddling waaaay too much at that part. That's not mentioning I still need to nail down the Pharos and Bahamut boss blocks (AND the fact that I want to swap out Vaan with Penelo... plus I need to batch my licencing.) Practice practice practice! But I love it :joy:

Say you don't fancy doing this on Monday/Tuesday if you're not working do you? I'm in the hospital (should be in for 2-3 days before recovery begins at home) and I think having a stream on from one of you guys might make me feel a bit less isolated. I don't mind the isolation (it's a break from everyone irl) but hearing your voices might help me feel less ronery should those feelings begin at any point.

I'm taking my Vita and PSP in loaded with games I love so no worries either way :D

I'll try to remember it, problems is there are always a million things to do before starting (readying licence board prints, maps, fiddling with stream audio, arguing with Twitch's UI, fetching drinks and snacks, going to the bathroom... lol) so I can't make promises, but if you follow me you get an email notification :monster:

Lex, I go back to work on Monday, otherwise I definitely would! I hope to be streaming more tomorrow and Friday this week though. It'll probably be practice, but that might include starting the thing from scratch again since I'll need to practice enough to be somewhat consistent on Dustia'ing, among several things :)
