No, Zee, I get the concept of jokes. Maybe you should try making it more obvious what things are jokes and what things aren't. That's twice now in this thread something you apparently meant as a joke was taken as something other than one.

It's an internet forum discussing fictional characters and their sex lives. Safe bet is that EVERYTHING is a joke...

No. We weren't. Zee suggested that Tifa wasn't a virgin. Some of us said that seemed unlikely for one reason or another. Zee's response was to suggest it was absurd to expect any attractive woman to be a virgin, an absurd suggestion. People weren't offended by it. They were derisive.

There's nothing wrong with the thought of Tifa being a more open and sexual person in general than she was with Cloud; hell, I've always thought she was so shy with Cloud because he was one of the last connections to her broken past.

Still, there's a difference between being 'open and a sexual person' and having sex with people casually. And no, there isn't anything wrong with it. It just seems at odds with Tifa's overall portrayal. I'd also say it's at odds with Yuffie's portrayal, Red's portayal, Vinnie's portrayal and even Cid's portrayal to some extent. Kinda in line with Zack and Aerith. Probably most of the turks.
Irvine, Zidane, Oddly Shantotto, all those come to mind as always being in that sort of vein.

Shantotto, flirty? Actually, I was thinking of the less serious characters as being more likely to engage in such acts. I don't think of the main turks as Flirty, but I know they're not serious minded.
Contrarywise, Edge is a massive flirt, but boy's a virgin. Barret's not flirty, but I can see him having sex at a young age, even after I rub the bleach into my eyes.

Also agreeing with winter on this one. Describing how a person is in the future=/=how they are in the past. If this was the case, then Garrus would be a serious-minded mercenary who is more concerned with his own problems than Shepard's opinion on them, to give a mass effect reference. Anyone who has played both games knows that he evolves between the two games, as Tifa has evolved between angry!revolutionary!Tifa and peace-seeking!pensive!Tifa.

They had a deep and personal relationship before Aerith died, while Cloud and others where none the wiser. The Gold Saucer date was their idea to fool Cloud so he wouldn't get suspicious about anything. >

Cid and Vincent did really love each other, but Vincent felt hurt when Cid married Shera, so Vincent pretended to still feel pain over Lucredia for revenge. It didn't work.

Misty's situation's not quite the same. It's not arguing that Sephiroth is a trans, but was forced to transition, and the trauma of forced surgery and medication regiment altering your brain chemicals might cause you issues.

For transpeople, after the surgery, they ARE right. For a cis, they wouldn't be.

Cloud's dad is Warrior of Light. The event that removed him from Nibelheim was him being pulled out of time and space to engage in the events of Dissidia and FF1.
