Events are good at the moment, The Bahamut Raid is very easy to get through even on ELT, far easier than the Ifrit raid and I'm really glad to see a banner focusing on some Dragoons. Also looking forward to getting a nice supply of Gil and cactuars with this event ALSO FREE SUMMON PULL FOR THE NEXT TEN DAYS woop!!!!

The Anniversary of it isn't long to go, there's there's be a special banner and also some nice bundles in there, well let's hope so.

I no longer have a top 5 ATK stat character, and I only have the best fifth chainer (Chizuru) and 4th best MAG stat character. Glad I'm not pumping money into this game, as the odds of getting the rare (and best) characters seems to be getting worse with time .

Did a 10+1 yesterday as I'd saved a load of lapis and pulled Rem, pretty happy about that.

I like the new event it burns more NRG but the drop rate is so much higher for Phantoma. I do wish they'd do other FF events aside from type-0 though

So very pissed off right now,someone made a bunch of Bot accounts in the bahamut raid to get the level higher so while the raid coins are higher the ranking rewards are facing the consequence that everyones rankings have dropped, so I've gone from rank 34K with the chance of getting 3 summon tickets and a 5% trust moogle to 123K which means 200 lapis IN ONE FUCKING NIGHT because of these greedy fucking hacking fuckers.

Gumi had better sort this shit out and get everyone's ranking back once they get rid of the bots, because I didn't put in refills in the raid for nothing and for once I was so sure I'd get into at least the top 30,000, like the raid ends in 3 days I'll never get back to 30,000 in that time frame, some people might not give a shit but a 5% TMR moogle and 3 extra summon tickets was a lot for me to get as a reward for playing the raid.

The bots don't seem to have stopped either, they're back again today after they seemed to have chilled out last night....I pretty much have given up on getting my rank back and the rewards I should have been getting but I am gonna take advantage of the extra raid coins available, the question is what are Gumi going to do to ensure this doesn't happen to future raids, they've remained very quiet since this began on Sunday and yet they addressed it when a similar incident happened when the raid was just released, at any rate I certainly won't be doing lapis refills in the future unless I know this sort of thing won't happen again.

In other news I was pleasantly surprised to see they reopened the FF3 event, I was able to get the TMR moogle I couldn't get the last time, due to the difficulty level and they've added lapis rewards into it with the mission system, Xande was a breeze this time. I wonder if this is going to be a trend, I'd love to take a crack at Golbez this time around if the reopened FFIV I couldn't get near him the last time.

I've got 35% worth of TMR moogles saved now and originally I was all for using them on Ludmille for dual cast, (shes sitting at 65%) to give to Refia but I've just recently pulled Rem on the Type-0 banner and she not only has dual cast, but she has reraise, esunaga, a really good magic stat AND dual wield if you equip her with daggers the only thing she looses out to Refia on is the Embolden Buff and I have Noctis or Ling for buffing so I don't know if I should put them into my other Zidane or hold off for a little while and put them into another unit like Shine or Chizuru.

I have five Zidanes now. I've stopped combining doubles of those with good TMs, because in the long run trust building will happen quicker if I grind multiple doubles and merge them later :p. I find myself spending my NRG on the events atm so haven't grinded much recently. Got Lightning's TM, but it doesn't do what I thought it would. It only doubles normal attacks, which is pretty lame. Zidane is at 75% or something like that so should master him in the next 100 years month .

Did you get second knife during the Easter event it allows dual wield and you can use abilities with it twice with it

5 Zidanes is good! The temptation to fuse with that is tough but that'll give you DW for each character when I get my next DW I'm gonna give it to Ex-death so he can equip two weapons. Zyrus right now has replaced him due to the Dragon Killer effect of his magic with the raid but I'll probably go back to Ex-Death after.

Are you going to pull on the new banner?, Wilhelm is supposed to be an amazing tank unit and it looks like they've given him some new abilities but WOL is supposed to be better for covering the entire team but his 6*form hasn't shown up yet, I think I'll stick with dailies on this banner maybe.

When you say pull, do you mean spend 5000 Lapis for the 10+1 deal? I find it hard to save Lapis. How do you save up Lapis? I really only ever dish out Lapis to spend on the 1/2 price summon every day. I figure you don't do that? Granted, I guess I could save up 5000 in about 3 weeks if I didn't spend on the daily summons, but many events almost require you to spend on the 1/2 price summon to increase your chance of getting the event characters that give you bonuses so you can get the event-exclusive King Mog material stuff a lot quicker. D:

Well I save mostly and don't always do daily half summon or summon all the time then I do the daily quests to get 50 lapis a day and try and get the lapis from the missions in the story quests.

I did a 10+1 pull in the Type-0 banner and got Rem who I wanted and a couple of Sices and I haven't needed to summon since last week.

I only did half summons on the Dragon banner until I got Zyrus which was after day 2 of the banner so that worked. I didn't bother with the previous FFBE banner because I have Orlandeau and Fryevia and Aileen was only worth it if you didn't have them.

The next banner coming up isn't really overly appealing which is why I might stick to half summons then I'm just lucky with my pulls from time to time so I don't need to pull a lot lately.

Yeah, I do the daily quests, and the other story quests, etc. The half summons are what drains my bank . I wonder what is more economical though. With the 10+1 summon deal (which costs 5,000) you are only guaranteed one 4 star+ character. With the half summons (which over 10 days costs 2,500) you get almost 2 times the amount of characters, just without the 4 star+ guarantee; you just have to rely on whatever odds the game has for getting those characters. I've read from a guy who clearly wastes a lot of his money on the game that they get the super rare characters at a rate of about 1 per 30,000 - 45,000 Lapis worth of summons (iirc). I think you are indeed lucky to get all them characters you got, Sprites . I haven't got any rares in aaages.

Haha yeah although in the beginning my luck was awful.

5* based are like a 1% chance I think.

10+1 pulls increase the odds definitely of getting a 5* based on the ones I've done, although I only stick to doing one if the banner is good and once I've done one I don't do anymore.

I did 10+1 pull for Orlandeu banner and got him, did it on the Rem banner, Fryevia was a lucky summon ticket towards the end of the banner although my luck will probably run out now.

I've saved a ton of my summon tickets too I've 30 of them at the moment and I don't tend to use them I might put some into the FFX banner, I hear Rikku is highly sought after.

I think my mentality is I don't chase for the rare units so getting them is a really nice surprise and when the rainbow crystal come up I'm like oooooh whose it gonna be.

I have bought lapis in the past but I stopped doing that after I had a week long fight with customer support on not receiving it.

Looks like the raid issue has been resolved, I've gone down to rank 46K which given I stopped doing the raid in anger for a bit seems about right so I think I can get close enough to the 5% moogle before tomorrow.

I finally beat the Gilgamesh trail woooo!!!

it was a hard fight and took me a few attempts but I managed to get everything in one of the rounds bar the Atk 30% reward (party of 5 or less), I think it took me over 30 minutes to complete. There's a definite emphasis on survival in this battle rather than full on power and bringing more support units than damage dealers is key.

I went in with Rain equipped with Dual wield Excalibur and survival edge and kept using Lava Floor to seal Holy, Earth. Fire and Wind damage, I normally wouldn't use Rain but this is one of the challenges where he's a niche unit because if you equip him with DW he can seal 4/6 elements. I used Orlandeau and divine ruination as my main damage dealer, I brought a friend noctis to use Thunder flask to seal Thunder, the only element I couldn't seal was water but it didn't do too much damage.

Support units were Cecil for Provoke plus extra Curaja, Refia with Dual Cast Curaja (finallt put some of my Trust moogles and got Ludmille's dualcast) and buffing...she's a better option than Rem because she has embolden and Full Raise.

My final support unit was Ling who was just amazing, she can dodge, Regen MP, AOE Esuna and revive and debuff the girl is just amazing!!

Just kept evade up on her to dodge attacks and used Invigorating Dance to heal MP for the team and Chakra for herself to heal MP and she can revive all KO'd units too. She was such a lifesaver, I couldn't have kept up without her and wouldn't have completed the No item challenge without her and Get Bushido freedom she's amazing as a support unit I'll be using her for more trials in the future.

Also went into the ELT against Wilhem in the new event, he was a tough cookie, needed a good debuffer(Noctis), buffer unit (refia) Bushido freedom to dispel the buffs he gave and to go in fast with Damage units, it took me a good few attempts and party reshuffles to knock him down, he goes a bit mental on the attack after you get him down past 50% hp. I don't think I'm going to go in for the 4 party challenge, I'm not crying for a 15% MAG ability.


EDIT: FUCK THAT FUCKING DARK ESPER TRIAL! I killed Ifrit, had Siren down to about 20% HP and the fucking bitch heals herself to full and goes on the fucking rampage and one shots my party!!, I was a good 40 mins into that trial, fucking absolute ridiculous mechanics in that fight.

I shall have to look at your strategy for Gilgamesh . As for Wilhelm, in my attempts so far, I've only been able to whittle him to just below 50% health. Think I gotta get me some TMs .

Wilhelm is definitely a toughie. For me I took Orlandeau, Friend Orlandeau, Fryevia, Noctis and Refia w. dualcast although Y'shtola would work due to having access to Protega. Even if you don't have Bushido Freedom, if you have Xon, Twist of Fate steals his buffs and gives them to the team so you can buff yourself a bit, then dispel them with Dispel with Cecil and your healer.

Anyway I kept Refia on Curaja and embolden duty, Noctis on warp break to debuff Wilhelm's attack that sweep move is awful also the physical resist is only 10% so it's not too bad, Orlandeaus to do Bladeblitz until the guards died and Fryevia with Bushido freedom then I let rip with Divine Ruination and Frost Flower Blitz, it was still tough though, his defence is insane.

How are you finding the raid, it's definitely tougher than the Bahamut one I haven't even attempted the Trial yet and I'm not sure I will, I'm hearing a lot of people on the reddit saying that the Trial is really hard unless you have good DPS chainers and a good breaker, that's not a problem for me and I have enough items for my party to prevent petrify, but the problem is his Landslide (Snort ability) and the fact that Tumult can do up to 10 hits a time and it hits everyone, he's a tough cookie.

We got this event super early, Japan got it two months ago, bear in mind they're about 9 months ahead in terms of units and items and content we don't have the same amount of units to help deal with this, WOL6* would be super helpful right now for the Trial, the raid seems ok but the Trial is another level.

I found the ELT level difficult, but managed to win once :p. Not going to try the 40 energy battle.

Same, I think the rewards from the raid individually are really good this time around, 5 free units, moogles, tickets and pots and while we don't get any TM moogles during the summoning bit I'm much happier with getting an increase on the units, I've got the two new units already from coins and I pulled another Y'shtola which was nice.

Did you see the free unit they're giving to summon with the shards? He's pretty cool looking, I'm just trying to figure out where we're supposed to get more shards from.

I think I've already got about 30 shards for the new unit. Seems like if we're expected to summon it in a week, it'll be very close :p. Should be easy to get it if more than that. I too have already got the rare summons from this Titan event.

Looks like from today some of the daily quests are giving the shards now, so it'll probably be easier to get the little guy than we think, he looks adorable with those giant fists.

Literally one day away from getting that shard summon now. Finally got my dual wield from Zidane. Almost got 30% ATK+ and 10% evade TM from Shine (95.4% TM... the last 0.3% of which I luckily got in three consecutive battles). Got my other Zidanes and Shines ready to replace them. Not sure how many dual wields I should bother getting. Surely not five. Any suggestions?

I have 2 days left to grab Kelsus, congrats on your dual wield!

I have two dual wields and second knife also does the exact same thing I think 3 is enough with current content but I do know that having more dual wields in the future would be handy on your healer for SPR or mage for the extra MAG in the future so hold onto them.

Have you got the 10% trust moogle or the 1% ones from the current event that would push up shine's TMR to the last bit, I'm working on her myself right now and Sozhe.

These new updates are amazing, Slot expansions, expeditions, crafting taking no time at all and can craft a ton of stuff at once.

I'm not bothering apart from dailies with the summer banner, granted it's great to get a TM moogle of some sort in the process but it's not an overly interesting banner for me. I really wanted Tilith but the rate for the Brave Frontier units is really low and at the moment I don't want to waste my remaining lapis just yet as the FFXII banner and X banner are coming out really soon.

I've had about 6 gold crystals since the banner was released and none of the have been a BF unit, luckily I had a Seria and Karl from the last time and the rate for Metal gods is definitley higher so it's easier to accumulate ore.

Yeah, got all the moogles from the current events. I'm TMing up my second Shine now with moogles, and grinding the first manually (unless I get more 1% moogles, so I don't waste any percentage ). Might look at TMing up another Zidane unit after that. I am grinding three Zidane units with the two Shine units.

Am enjoying the new updates myself. Nice to be able to put all these units I've collected, leveled up, and then ignored to good use . I also like the FFBE main cast missions, so you can get their weapon, armour, and accessory. Already completed them though. Need moar! A bit challenging using the weaker characters in battle, which I like (even though it is challenging/impossible winning with my strongest against the vortex super bosses )

Can't wait for a decent banner, heading toward 15000 lapis now . Took very little time at all... a month. Gimme some good summons though, game . I'd hate to spend all my saved Lapis on a good banner and not get a good character. That would be just heartbreaking . I see they got EX tickets for those who purchase lapis that guarantees a 5 star, but nah-uh, I'm not that gullible .
