Don't worry, we'll try to describe the awesome as best as possible.

I know the plot of the game. I assure you, it's not awesome. Too many half-assed new characters, too little focus on the old ones, too many rehashed and reshuffled plot devices that echo the original game.

Also, Tennyo, if you wanna play FF4, I recommend the DS release. The GBA and Super NES ports are also great, but their gameplay is horrible restricted and simple. After the improved difficulty and ability system of the DS release, not to mention the voice acting and better graphics, you'll never want to look at the GBA/Super NES ports.

Also, while the DS FFIV is awesome, so too are the others, so you can get whichever you like.

I lost my copy of FFIV for DS so I haven't been able to play it thoroughly..

But I might look into getting this on Wii, if cba to play it.

Yes, but it has horrible loading times. Just find Final Fantasy IV Hardtype and emulate it. In fact, I'll PM you a link to it if need be.

Well actually I did, but only about 25% on PlayStation.

And PlayStation sucks at 2D games.

Tenten, there's also the GBA version.

And the Hardtype version, which is pretty good, though buggy.

Easytype is easier, and lulzy, and worth a play to, even if only for EZ Zeromus.

And I wasn't aware of any bugs in Hardtype. At least, I definitely never encountered any in the version I played.

They're not major, nor are they noticable to the average player. Largely, they revolve around drop and encounter rates.
